This friendly very welcoming pub as everything anyone needs . Very friendly and welcoming and even regulars make you feel welcomed too lovely place. And the foos is exceptional ????
Pleasantly surprising, given the pub's past reputation. Visited for a pre-Christmas Sunday roast with some friends who are moving to the area and wanted to check out their future local. The staff were very friendly and chatty, the food was excellent, and there was plenty of it - huge portions, excellent value for money.
Making down to 4 stars only because the staff were still getting used to the place, having recently reopened, but I'm sure they'll be up to speed soon.
We've been in to eat a couple of times since the recent change of management and kitchen staff. The new menu is good, well cooked and decent value. The rib eye steak was a good choice, and it would be nice to see the brisket burger on the Christmas menu stay on the menu after the holidays.
It's also good to see the pub opening on some mornings for breakfast and coffee.
food was tasted delicious, big portions and good value for money.staff are really nice and very attentive had a great time. would highly recommend
Nice pub in a small village. Had lunchtime after a walk which was ok for the price.
