Went here as a last minute Google find after another pub in the region declined to host a baby in a high chair. They don't need the publicity however. ???? We don't know the local area but believe the middle bell has recently returned after being closed. The food was hearty and healthy (very large salad portions), half roast chicken could have done with a Gravy but the kids were happy and the ham terrine well seasoned. Good stop for any tourists passing through or staying near by such as wychnor.
What a Difference 3wks & New Lord & Lady makes! Amazing Atmosphere! Haven't eaten here yet but checked out the menu, a Great Menu!!! & I saw food being brought out, & it Looked & smelled Amazing!???????? Dan & Terri are so warm, friendly & welcoming & have a great team of Staff.
Nipped in here on a Sunday lunchtime for a quick drink. Loved the vibe of the place and the decor! We ended up getting some nibbles from the bar snacks menu as the menu sounded amazing. We weren't wrong, the food was great! We definitely want to come back to try the full menu. Friendly staff too. Great little pub!
Sunday lunch was delicious. Really well looked after by Tom and the middle bell team. Food and service were really great. Just a good family pub with great food and service.
Absolutely lovely meal. The new landlady and landlord are doing a fabulous job. Looking forward to our Sunday lunch at the weekend.
Lovely old pub and very friendly bar staff. The pizzas are amazing, we had the Steakhouse pizza which had big pieces of steak on, served very hot and tasted wonderful. The pub is very clean and tidy and all covid rules are in place and a very safe environment. We will definitely be back.
Lovely family environment,plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. No sheltered area outside. Nice for a quick nibble and pint. Home cooked scratchings with apple puree was delicious.
Fantabulous food! Absolutely delicious from first bite. First time going and can confidently say I will definitely be returning. Fish and chips are absolutely gorgeous, served in a quirky style which I liked very much.
