I visited the Merge twice so far. Meg is amazing. She listened to exactly what I wanted and delivered. I found my new place!
The Merge is great! I see Dawn, the owner. She never disappoints! My husband sees Michelle, and won’t see anyone else now. Very experienced high end quality, yet prices aren’t ! Best place!
Took my daughter there for help with impossible knots I had tried to get out for hours. Megan was wonderful...extremely patient and nonjudgemental. Special thanks to Dawn and Laurie too for helping. And they didn’t even try to sell me any products, which I really appreciated.
This place is a total five stars!! Was able to get an appointment right away. I haven’t been to a different t salon in over 20 years. Dawn did my hair. I told her what I was looking for & she did exactly that! I’m very pleased & will definitely go back!! Thank you The Merge!!!!
This is the worst hair salon i have ever gone to. My mom went to get a haircut and the person who has long blonde thick hair does not know how to cut or style hair professionally. My mom left very disappointed and upset because she did basically nothing for her hair and left paint on her skin from the color and let her walk out like that. She did not give my mom any type of shape or style to her hair. Very disappointed in this place and believe me that we will never go back.

I traded in my costly high end salon for The Merge and it was the BEST decision I ever made! They are approachable and listen to you as a client. The results are amazing and there's nothing they can't do! I have long thick hair and everytime I walk out of there after a blow out I feel like a movie star! Blowouts are only $15!!! I get high end hair design for a fraction of the price without ever sacrificing quality. I've referred my friends, family ,neighbors and people in the community to go to The Merge! Its owned and run by a fabulous local woman who cares about each of her clients and their satisfaction. This persomal approach truly makes all the difference. The Merge is a step above all the rest. TIP: call ahead for weekend appointments to get the time you want. They book up quickly

Sure, in terms of a quality $15 blowout, then okay, this place rocked.
BUT! In terms of a quality personal experience... AWFUL. AWFUL!!!!
I have never felt so humiliated about my hair before in my life. I am a teenage swim instructor/lifeguard with very curly hair from the roots down. When I got to The Merge, I had my hair up in a bun because I had worked all day and my hair felt heavy/hard/frizzy from chlorine.
While I was waiting, the front desk lady called over the stylist who would later blow out my hair and asked me to take my hair out of my bun. It was down for all of 2 seconds before both ladies burst out laughing!!!!! I was shocked!!!! When I asked if anything was wrong, they just kept laughing, stopping only to say "Oh, nothing, just laughing!" They then began to joke about curly hair right in front of me. I asked AGAIN if anything was wrong, this time telling them that I am a swimmer... But, that just made them laugh and joke around even more! :( !!! Their insults made me sick to my stomach!! Finally, after what seemed like forever, the stylist lady just said "Oh, I guess I've just got to prepare for the challenge!" I was stunned by their rude and condescending behavior :( !!!!!
I would have walked out, but my mom was already in the middle of her appointment... (Yes, they really did make fun of me when my mom was right there in the store!!!)
After my blowout, the front desk lady and ALL the other stylists took turns laughing and saying "Wow, what a difference!! Soooooo much better!! Maybe consider straightening your hair?"
I walked out sick to my stomach and embarrassed beyond measure.
That was my FIRST time in The Merge, and I can assure you it was also my LAST.
News flash - not everyone has perfect hair! And it is utterly RIDICULOUS to make anyone feel any less for ROCKING what they have. NEVER going back.
Take an etiquette class, ladies!!
Dawn and her staff are very professional and friendly. I can honestly say they give the best haircuts. The hair salon is very clean. I highly recommend them.
