Excellent service for a fair price by a Mercedes-Benz certified mechanic with decades of experience. Owner, Steve, is an extremely capable mechanic, but runs a one-man show. Sometimes he is quite busy fixing cars so he might come across short or brusque on the phone. Be patient, make an appointment and you won’t be disappointed by his thorough service.
I had a Battery warning light come on. I took it to Steve and he checked both batteries and found the main one needed to be replaced. He ordered a new battery and installed it. I took it home but the warning light stayed on. I took it back and Steve scanned the system, found nothing amiss and cleared the codes. I have used other businesses before but they were high priced and not very accommodating. I will go to Steve for any future needs and would highly recommend The Mercedes Shop.
Took my SLK55 AMG in because it wouldn't start. Steve found the problem and it's as good as new. Great service and good people. Highly recommend this amazing shop.
I spent $1,678.00 on a tune up for a 1991 Mercedes 500 SL. The owner, Steve did my work. I just found out how grossly over charged I was.
Steve marked up all the parts @ 100 %. And include a $500 labor bill for 2 hours of labor. Didn’t service the transmission as said. Never checked the old brake fluid, etc.
Steve seemed like a straight shooter when I met him. Never again!
Beware before you become a victim of a shop lacking integrity!

All I did was call and try to make an appointment and got massive attitude from the gentleman at the shop. It sounded like he was extremely annoyed that I was calling. All I wanted was general maintenance and checks before I went on a long trip. He got grumpier every single time I answered one of his questions. I gave up and hung up. Customer service is not that great.
This was my first time visiting The Mercedes Shoppe in Puyallup. We are fairly new Puyallup residents. We have a 2006 SL500 and a 2008 GL450. The work performed on was on the GL. Catalytic Converters, brakes, spark plugs, oil change and general wellness check. This experience was the best we've ever had at any shop. They will have our business going forward for as long as they're there and we drive Mercedes. Thank you, Steve, Kim and Randy (and Steven). You guys ROCK!
I have been taking my GLK350 to Steve for over 3 years, he does all the service on my car. I feel he does a quality job and is very knowledgeable.
The man who works their is very fairly priced, extremely knowledgeable and a good overall guy. Thanks again!
