No way to give negative ratings. Rude as fudge servers and this place should fire their current staff. They have a decent menu but when you order anything they tell you that they only have 1-2 specific items only. When I was paying for my food and drink, drink was being charged more than the listed price on the menu. I informed the African American girl who was doing my billing and she spoke very rudely, that's the price of the drink in my system, you either want it or not. I went ahead and paid for it. I mentioned that they should change the sign but she went off on me. She told me she doesn't change sign and if I want I can do it. I said that you're working here and getting paid to do the work. She gets even more rude and tells me that she's not doing it. I told her there is no reason to give me the attitude and give me my food & drink that I paid for. Worst service and food... EVER.
It was pretty disappointing food and service! Expensive for the poor value they sell and charge extra for each topping. I don’t recommend this place at all!!
If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I asked for a med-mix bowl which clearly says you get rice + 3 toppings, but when I asked for rice the cashier insisted that was extra. Despite the 2 people in front of me having ordered the same item and receiving rice + pita + 3 toppings, I was told that because I got hummus as a topping (which apparently was also extra) that I could not get rice without paying more.
The pace is also very slow and the employees struggle to answer your most basic questions regarding their menu offerings. Never again!
Waaaaay overpriced for what you get. They want to charge you extra for lettuce, tomatoes, anything. I paid over $15 for the dish in the photo. It should be $7. I know it’s at the airport, but come on guys. Be reasonable and don’t be greedy. Greed will put you out of business before you know it. On top of that, no utensils in my takeout bag. Sheesh.
This place should be shut down because literally the people that work here are very rude and do not have good customer service skills at all! This place should not be in the EWR Airport because us passing through and hungry then having to deal with bad customer service skills is really sad. I came with a group of 15 and none of could get any food because they were all nasty and my group didn’t want any type of confrontation.
I had a bowl with chicken kabob and rice and I go to select my toppings. On my fourth request, the server tells me that it’s an additional $3.50 per topping after 3 toppings. Wish he told me sooner and I saw no signage that indicated the 3 topping max. Subway does better than this… 3.50 for an additional veggie? Come on… And there was maybe 4 small pieces of chicken in the bowl.
The food is very basic. They are al ready overpriced and they charge extra for even hummus and salads. The server was not at all interested in serving. I made a big mistake of not checking the place before getting the food. 0/5
I thought I was on a hidden camera show for a moment:
The moment it was my turn the guys demeanor behind the food counter turns to ice. He doesnt greet me back despite being -somewhat- friendly to Caucasian group ahead of me. He simply refuses to respond.
I asked for the falafel wrap and fries. He grabs a handful of cold fried falafels that are soggy and have been in and out of the fryer multiple times by the amount of oil and the darkness of the coating.
He proceeds to smash them with his fist into the wrap. No kidding. Extra hard then slings it to the condiment side. Then I ask for the stuff that is described as coming with it and he says it’s all extra.
Moving on he wraps it in foil and throw it for 8 seconds on a griddle. The lady’s behind the register pull it right of, still ice cold and tells me the wrong amount. She says it’s chicken, I disagree. Luckily there was a receipt.
Then the checkout insists you have to tip. There I not a No Tip, which these robbers dont deserve anyways. You have to click through menus to get to no tip. This place needs to be shut down. Terrible food and employees. The absolute worst.
Eject.
