Be careful when you bring your car here. They’ll steal your money.
I went to the dealership to fix my ac under warranty and they gave me a list of things I need to do for my car. (transmission fluids, engine injector, coolant, cabin filter, and engine oil filter.
I know the dealership overcharges and tells you things you don’t need to do so they can make money. So I brought my car here to get a second opinion. I called them saying “hey, I need to change the transmission fluids, coolant and clean the engine injector. Can you give me an estimate of how much it will cost?” The guy said “I can’t give you an estimate on the phone. Bring your car and we’ll have the mechanic take a look at it. Then we can tell you how much it will cost. Don’t worry. We’ll tell you how much it is before we do anything.” So I came in and brought my car.
I told them to just look at those three things because I can change both filters by myself. It’s super easy to do at home. They asked me for the list I got from the dealership so they can have that as a reference.
After two hours later, they called me saying that my car is ready. When I got there, the guy was asking me for $200?!?!?! They also changed both of the filters when I told them I don’t need it? What happened to telling me “don’t worry. We’ll let you know the price before we do anything.” Do you guys just fix people’s car without telling your customers anything and expect them to pay?
When I confronted him about why they changed the filters without telling me, he said “oh, it was on the list you gave me.” It’s ridiculous. Don’t get scammed like me and go somewhere else. There’s tons of auto shops in la.
My car started making a terrible noise. I called first thing in the morning and he (the owner?) said I could bring it right in. Ended up needing a new ac compressor. Had my car back in less than 24 hours, running beautifully. Price was exactly as quoted (and included tax in the quote.) Great experience, glad to have found my local auto shop in LA!
Got a nail in my tire, and the guys at Franklin Auto Center were extremely quick and efficient! Had my tire plugged in less then 5 minutes, and was nice enough to put air in all tires. Fair pricing too! Defiantly will be a returning customer!

I took my car in to get the rear brake pads and a headlight bulb replaced. They did a good job at a fair price and had it done quickly, within a few hours. A couple weeks later, my car started making a weird noise. I wasn't sure if it was a bad bearing or what. I took it back to these guys and as it turns out, I had picked up a bolt in one of my tires. They plugged the hole and charged me a fair price. Good, honest work.
A gallon of paint broke open all over the inside of my car while moving and I needed my car cleaned & back to normal in 2 days. It was a huge mess, that many would not have taken on. Franklin Auto center gave me my car back in mint condition In record time. I Highly recommend their services.
Broke down on the side of the road and walked my motorcycle into the shop. The owner came out and helped me, made sure my spark plugs were working and gave me some gas. Very cool place.
Armen was quick to smog my car, and very friendly. Pleasure to deal with him. Fastest smog check I have ever had. Definite thumbs up!!!
