Charming inside and out!
What a busy night it was for this bustling restaurant! It seemed like the entire restaurant was glued to the televisions watching the Kentucky Derby tonight, including staff.
Our waitress was good, but did forget us a few times. Service was slow, but this could have been due to a full house. I had the Chicken Francese, which is apparently one of their most popular dishes. I’m truly unsure of what people enjoy about it. It had no flavor whatsoever and was lackluster other than presentation wise. Garlic, a dash of salt, pepper, and more lemon (which couldn’t be tasted at all) would have done wonders for this dish. The rest of my party enjoyed their food.
This local gem of a restaurant that not only tantalizes your taste buds but also offers an experience to remember. This local eatery stands out with its diverse and delectable menu, ensuring there's something to satisfy every palate.
The menu is a culinary journey with a variety of options. From savory starters to mouthwatering main courses and delightful desserts, each dish is crafted with precision, promising a delightful culinary adventure for all who visit.
What sets this place apart is not just the sumptuous fare but also the breathtaking views it provides- you're treated to a visual feast that complements the flavors on your plate. It's an experience that engages all the senses, making every visit a memorable one.
The restaurant's layout adds to its charm, offering a variety of table options to suit different preferences. Whether you prefer an intimate dinner at a cozy corner table, a lively gathering at a large round table, or a casual drink at the well-stocked bar, the ambiance caters to diverse tastes. The bar, in particular, adds a vibrant energy to the atmosphere, providing a perfect spot to unwind with a signature cocktail or engage in lively conversations with fellow patrons.
In essence, this local restaurant is not just a place to dine; it's a destination where flavors, views, and ambiance harmonize to create an unforgettable experience. Whether you're a food enthusiast, seeking picturesque views, or simply looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a drink, this establishment has it all. It's a testament to the rich culinary and social tapestry of our community, inviting everyone to savor the moments spent within its welcoming walls.
I had the soup o the day which was butternut squash and a shrimp appetizer named “Sesuit Sassy Shrimp”. The soup tasted like nothing, but the shrimp was the most disgusting thing I have ever eaten in my life. It was drenched in oil with a gross asian flavored sauce on top. Also, back in the days they used to serve a basket of delicious bread, nowadays, no more, but prices are sky high. Unfortunately my last few experiences at this restaurant were very disappointing, and I know more people who agree with me. I feel that in the past 10 years its quality has been consistently going downhill and too pricey for what you get.
Sat outside on a pleasant day.
Great view. Great food. Great service.
Group of 4 next to us we're a bit loud.
Use to be good, use to be a regular, last couple of times so disappointing I won't be back. The "complimentary" valet was so rude I almost left, went inside to find they lost our reservation?! Luckily there were plenty of seats available... Food was mediocre for the price. Chowder use to be good, this time it was devoid of clams and tasted like flour paste. Waitress was the one bright star as she was great and the view is always nice.
What a delight!
This was my second meal at The Marshside and the first while it was still light outside. As such, out booth seats next to one of the large picture windows afforded us a wonderful view of the birdge, the marsh, and the nearby inlet harbor. That was worth the trip in itself. The food was beautifully prepared and presented and delicious, the service was excellent, and it the meal was reasonably priced.
I warmly recommend a visit.
The place is awesome, the view of the march is wonderful, peaceful and the food is perfect! I love it!
O local e maravilhoso, a vista do mangue e linda, tranquila e a comida e perfeita! Eu amei!
Such a lovely space and meal. The restaurant is stunning with large windows all around overlooking the adjacent marsh. We had to wait shortly, but there was ample space and seating for us at the bar or entryway. The Local Day Boat Scallops, with asparagus, mushrooms, and ravioli, was an incredible meal. I savored every bite!
