Got a take away for lunch. Wasn’t very busy considering it was lunch time and all the surrounding shops were busy, lots of competition in this area as row of shops all along this road with some well known places. Anyway ordered a portion of the masala fries, generous portion but flavour was so so, not as good compared to other places I’ve tried. Service was slow considering i only ordered 1 small thing and stadf seemed confused that I ordered a diet coke. The only other person seated was a staff member who seemed to be eating lunch from the restaurant. Probably wont be back.
Although the menu looks promising, I was disappointed at the burger patties. They were dry, over cooked. The wings were probably reheated in a microwave and the chips were undercooked. They got everything wrong. Except the drinks.
I got the Mac Fly Burger as a meal deal. The first bite was nice - everything was nicely proportioned. Then I bit into the turkey rashers ???? Even after I took them out, I could still taste it. The burger’s texture reminded me of rubber and it felt like I was having chewing gum. That’s when the burger slid out of its outer shell ????♀️ I should’ve gone for a beef burger in retrospect because I hate the taste of the chewy chicken ☹️
Customer service was amazing tho ❤️
I ordered double jointed grilled wingz and spicy rice . The amount was very very less and it’s taste it was old and the just did oven it and sent it . And the wings not properly cooked. I’m so disappointed. I ordered first time .
I went to this place and orders the box deal numbers 4, I thought that it sounds good as it was Mac and cheese, burger and Donna meat
And was only £10 I asked for no salad on anything, when the food eventually came out after 30ish minutes the burgers was like a 99p cheeseburger from maccies and the Mac and cheese was just macaroni pasta with chill flakes on no cheese in-on it whatsoever and too too off my amazing experience the Donna meat came with salad on and I explained that I asked for no salad the woman was happy to please so top it back to the (chef)
Only to bring it back out with all the salad now mixed in with the Donna meat.
I will not recommend this place to anyone and will not be returning
Never put a review anywhere before but this was needed! Only put 1 star as cant put 0… Waited over an hour for my food and it wasnt busy at all, then when it finally arrived i took it home and couldnt even finish half of it. Burger tasted horrid and cheap, wings were tough and dark, the blue cheese dip was disgusting and watery, Hands down the worst takeaway ive ever wasted money at. Avoid this place.
I'd give 0 stars if it was possible. Ordered a smash burger, got a fried probably frozen patty. One of the worst burgers ive ever had, dripping of cold oil and mostly fat.
Poor service and adamant it was a smash burger but there were not grill marks/smash whatsoever.
I'd advise to never go here.
The MAQ has moved to Bethnal Green and OMG is needs a lot of work. I don't think they really understood the competition in the Bethnal Green area well but at the high prices they charge, they won't last long. Example: a quarter pounder on its on was £3.50 and in a shop just on the other side of the road you can get a chicken steak burger, large chip and 2 wings and a drink for £3.50. Staff are friendly but the prices need to change. I ordered a quarter pounder and what you see in the picture is not what you get (look at the pictures attached). Now to be fair, they only opened Friday the 5th Aug 2022, so there is still time to make changes. But if they continue the way they are, I foresee a new business showing up to replace them soon. Hopefully this one is not the same as the one on Mile End road. Overall: I would pop cross the road to a much better chips shop for now until there is a massive improvement. The pictures speak for themselves. Very disappointed as I had high hopes after the long wait and the hype.
