Another super old bar in Leadville, here on a Saturday afternoon and obvious place is full of locals.
They have a pool table in the back and a few games like darts. Few beers on tap and snack items for purchase. Also gift items like branded shirts.
Prompt friendly service and another great dose of local Leadville life.
A locals bar for sure, but the vibe was super relaxed. Budweiser is $2.50, this is the place to kick your feet up after a long hike or float down the river in the nearby area. Staff was super great!
Cooper was absolutely incredible behind the bar, we ordered a Manhattan as the bar would suggest and she absolutely knocked it out of the park. We sat in a booth near the bar and despite it being extremely busy (with cooper the only one to take care of us all) she still managed to come by and check on how it was. For a bar named manhattans they had limited whiskey/bourbon options but cooper is looking to change it and I for one believe in her.

Great place to get your attitude and altitude adjusted before striking out for the Collegiate Mountains on the Colorado Trail. Thanks folks for the wonderful libations, relaxing atmosphere and a chance to tell tall trail tales over a few cold ones!
Must try this local watering hole! They have full bar with a few food items.
felt like home. bartenders were friendly, patrons were obviously local and also extremely friendly. had a great time playing darts and listening to aerosmith. everyone there seemed genuinely happy to be hanging out with their friends. will be back!!
I stayed in town for a few days and visited this local place for a pint! Great old local bar, had a long conversation with some great Leadvillains (as they are apparently known by.... which of course is the best name ever...). Whatever happens to this building, please leave the bar as is!... Thanks for letting me hangout in your brilliant town! And my wife loves her Manhattan Bar hoodie....
