Stopped for lunch while passing through Derby. Lovely area. Great local pub, friendly locals and staff. Nice food and drink at reasonable prices.
Love this place. Nice breakfast beside the canal, then plenty to see on a local walk. Great choice of beers when you get back.
Absolutely wonderful pub serving a fabulous range of Beers, Spirits and Wines. Very relaxing area outside near the canal to enjoy your drinks and food, and soak up the atmosphere.
What a great breakfast, at the lovely 1799 pub! Great food, drink, with plenty to see and do at the Inland Port Festival! !
Had a lovely meal and as gluten free menu was extensive and my curry came with a gf nan bread no fuss at all .They also have a bottled gf beer nice change from cider .Service was good and friendly .The other meal was delicious
Good proper pub grub at good prices. The pies were great - slices of a big pie just like the old school dinners style and very tasty.

Nice place.
Took our family for breakfast, to celebrate our younger daughter's birthday. Helpful, friendly staff. Grandchildren enjoyed playing board games while waiting for their food, while the four adults enjoyed a hot drink. Breakfasts were excellent. We'll be visiting again!
Nice cosy dog friendly pub next to the canal friendly welcoming staff and drinks below average prices.
