Loved this pub! The view is fabulous, the locals and the bar staff were all friendly and the beer was wonderful. We liked it so much, we came back the following night. I’m unclear whether they currently serve food or have any available rooms - but the focus of our visit was to enjoy their beer and their view.
This must be one of the best pubs anywhere! It was our first visit and we were amazed by everything it offered, including a breathtaking view from the terrace over the Hereford hills. We were warmly welcomed by Lou, then by John and Sharon the owners. Nothing was too much trouble - they were all so kind, courteous and had a great sense of humour. The locals were also very friendly and engaging, making our visit relaxing and giving us the feel-good factor. The wine was good quality and good value for money. The bar area was beautiful - the most cosy and comfortable we've ever seen, with great decor and a log fire. We stayed much later than we'd planned! We had to drive to this gorgeous pub but we will return on a regular basis. Thank you all for making us feel valued customers. We were touched by the whole experience.
What a stunning view to soak up as you savour a perfectly served pint of Ledbury Gold. I suspect the locals wont thank me for sharing this idyllic little spot of England that they would rather save for themselves. Thoroughly enjoyed the history of the location and the bar. Will be back again.
Always a good pint. A proper country pub with one of the best views around. Beautiful terraced garden. On a sunny day, you can see right over west Herefordshire and into Wales. Also, it is a delightfully cosy place in the winter with a large wood burner and a traditional interior. It's a great pub all round. They don't serve food however you'll often find complimentary bar snacks on the bar eg. cheese board and they have a good range of other snacks available to buy.
We called in on the off chance about 6pm on Saturday evening. What a great pub. There’s a large car park on site. Friendly staff and customers. We were made to feel at home straight away.|The place was rammed, but we managed to find a table which made the most of what this place is famous for; the fab views of the beautiful Herefordshire countryside from its elevated position. We were not disappointed. They are spectacular. |There’s a great range of local ales, lagers and ciders as you’d expect and I’m told the large Sauvignon Blanc wasn’t bad either!!!|Cash or cards accepted. |Highly recommended. Go seek it out. You won’t be disappointed ????
Dropped in as looking for a pub with a garden as staying locally at Brook House Farm Woods. Lovely outlook and views and landlady made my wife a pimms to die for with cucumber, raspberries and mint from her garden. Great pint of beer. Perfect!
Called on spec when staying in the area, lovely atmosphere, nice friendly pub. Really well looked after, beautiful gardens, superbly clean and really welcoming. Couldn't wish for a better local...superb ales, a really great pub...five star ⭐️
Lovely staff. Excellent cask ale, kept very well. Fantastic views from the rear terrace. Very friendly atmosphere.
