The worst most expensive load of rubbish, they should feel ashamed to sell such low quality food at top, top prices. Please don't make the same mistake as me avoid this place, pun intended.
Decent fish and chips shop in the village. Fairly quick and easy
£3.50 for a portion of chips and the fella can’t be bothered to wrap it in a bit of paper for you!
AVOID! We ordered via just eat. Said it was delivered, but never received the £40 order. We called to see what was going on. The lady was uninterested said to call the driver, but she didn't know who he was. They had no clue where our order was and were really unhelpful. No customer service and no interest except in taking your money. We tried again to call she told us to deal with it ourselves and hung up.
Thursday 19th August 2020 my wife and I had a very nice fish and chip meal in the Major Plaice. Coming up from Bournemouth where fish and chip shops are like a major food chain, I found that the fish had a golden colour batter and the chips light and tasty. Served that day by the owner who is a friendly guy. One of the best meals and I can recommend it.
Consistently top notch fish n chips: Thin crispy golden batter and tartare and a lemon wedge on the side. Always so fresh and piping hot. The Thai Rendang was also amazing: tender beef, good portions and authentic, fragrant sauce.
Lovely fish and chips , very fast delivery and absolutely delicious food. This has to be the best fish and chip shop in epsom. You won’t be disappointed here. You can’t beat the food here. Everything is lovely and fair prices too
On Tuesdays to Thursday in the actual restaurant and over the phone (not on uber eats) they do a selection of thai food. It's great! Real amazing hidden gem and the owner and chef really knows his food! Not what you'd expect from fish and chips.
Been walking away with curries, fantastic duck spring rolls, calamari. Great!
