If you are looking for a dining experience that is very cozy and right on the water, then this is the place for you! It is not fancy but warm and private. The windows open without screens right onto the beach over the bay. The water is almost right under the restaurant. The food was good, a little bit expensive for items like steak ($48), but we think worth it for the bay dining experience. It did take a little time to get our bill.
Amazing restaurant on orcas island. Reasonable pricing for delicious food with beautiful presentation. Compliments to the chef! Friendly staff. The vibe is friendly and peaceful with quick service.
Lovely service with great food. The bruschetta was so good as was the fish sandwich. The crab cakes were good flavor wise, but a little too much breadcrumbs.

I had a grilled shrimp so good here it brought me to tears. Grilled to perfection, succulent and slightly charred, it was an experience in itself. This is a lovely restaurant with great food and service, as well as beautiful views of the water.

The oysters are great, the steak is juicy, the fish sandwich is delicious and the salad is fresh. You can't go wrong. One year later we went back again. Reservations are preferred but we got a seat in the bar area and everything was just as good. Keep it up!
We have been traveling the Pacific Northwest for the last 10 days so we have had many opportunities to sample many different restaurants along the way. After reading so many questionable reviews we decided to have dinner here and decide for ourselves because the view from the patio is stunning.
We stopped in personally shortly after they opened to make a reservation for the patio for dinner they informed us that the kitten is closed between 4 and 5 to give the kitchen to prepare for dinner so we chose to come at 5 to make sure we got a seat on the patio.
We started with a Caesar salad, then our mains were the seafood linguini and a madrona burger. The salad was crisp and flavorful with shaved parmesan cheese throughout.
The madrona burger was perfectly prepared and packed with flavor. The seafood linguini was the best seafood we have encountered, beating out the seafood in Cannon Beach and Seattle. The sauce was so tasty the plate was wiped clean.
The staff as great, constantly refilling or water glasses and communicating with us throughout our meal.
