Best KPortal Reviews
To be honest, looking at previous reviews, I was surprised to get a face to face appointment within a week. The reception team were welcoming and professional and the GP I saw was kind and considerate. I would recommend this GP surgery.
I have to say I was a bit worried when looking at reviews however my experience has been positive. My doctor is DR SURENTHIRAN and he has been fantastic so far, he provided great care and good advices for the future. He takes time to listen, which is really appreciated. Thank you ????
Deeply disappointed by the service provided by the NEW receptionists at this practice. You can be dying and they would not have an ounce of compassion. You would have to call over and over again throughout weeks to get any type of help, I’ve been with this GP practice my whole life alongside my family so you can only imagine the level of sadness and disappointment I have been experiencing. Doesn’t even deserve one star.
I wouldn’t even give it one star if it was possible. I don’t know how this surgery is still running it is by far the worst doctor surgery I have ever dealt with. It is nearly impossible to get an appointment. You are just repeatedly told to call back between specific times they do not realise some people are suffering and it is not always possible to call in one hour in the morning to book when you do call you are left waiting over an hour waiting for them to answer to be told sorry try again tomorrow. Majority of the reviews I have read I have very high doubts of the authenticity as I have read one of the reviews where someone stated they have been going to Dr Johal since the 1980s, which is not possible as he was not working at the surgery since then. I cannot fault the doctors or nurses however it is the management and practice manager to blame for the horrendous management. uneducated and extremely rude receptionist who think they are there managers without basic skills set are to blame aswell.
Once I called to book an appointment, I was told to hold I was left on hold for more than 50 minutes in this time, I walked to the surgery while still on hold and witnessed the receptionist gossiping with her colleague while doing her nail polish. When I approached her and made her aware of the situation was told to leave the premises until someone is free to answer the call.
Very disappointed!
Its Very difficult to get an appointment even when you are under lots of pains. The receptionist are very rude and they are taking over you while on the phone with them , they don’t care about you as a patient and the timing waiting to answer the call is sometimes more then 30 min!
The surgery is miles away from patients expectations!
I wouldn’t recommend to no one this surgery!
The GP's are great and my last appointment with Dr H Johal was a positive experience! He was professional, listened to me and involved me in my care plan. Receptionists are doing the best they can and I always find them polite. Highly recommend this practice!
Doctor Johal and the team at Lyndhurst surgery have been our family doctor surgery since 1980, Every appointment that I have had with Dr Johal has been life changing, he goes through every detail to ensure your health is on the mend. You don’t get many doctors who spend their time out of their day to ensure every problem has been covered. I would like to thank Dr Johal for your dedication and determination and for the constant support you have offered me and my family.
The GPs are nice and professional. The receptionists are appalling. That is, when they decide to answer the phone. Once they finally do, they interrupt you and make it clear that your call is irritating them.
As a patient for many years, I really miss the receptionists that used to work there before. You have to bite your tongue because responding to their attitude will work against you.
I understand that reception can be a hard job at times and that some patients can be rude. However, that is no excuse for treating callers like nuisances and being unprofessional.
