Best KPortal Reviews
Man, wish I could give 3.5 stars. This place is fine. The Chicken Fried Steak sandwich is insanely big! But the flavor isn't anything special. I like the idea of this place and I would eat here again. It's just not my first choice, I suppose.
Absolutely wonderful! Everything we ordered tasted like perfection. I ordered the livers, slaw and okra. Could not have enjoyed the food and environment more. Perfect Saturday lunch. The waitress was super kind and helpful.
The food was not that great. The wings had no flavor, just tasted like boiled chicken. The okra and Coleslaw were not very good. The only highlight of this place is the atmosphere, it’s very good scenery and the live music was very nice. The food was just sadly a let down.

I took my family, hoping for a better experience. I feel I'm being generous, only reducing my rating by one star. Service, was very unprofessional. Food is overpriced, 10 wings $18.95, no sides, and mediocre at best. Atmosphere, even went down. I'm with my son, daughter-in-law, and 3 grandchildren (ages 8 - 15). The place is not very busy. The kids eat and want to play corn hole. I ask for the bags, and they want a 20 dollar deposit. Oh, and I had to find the 3 "working" staff sitting at a table talking, to ask them. I can not recommend the Lumber Shack and will no longer patronize their establishment.

I've been to the Chicken Shack in Arcaidia, OK, I gave it 4 stars. The Lumber Shack is a result of the success of the Chicken Shack. However, this latter restaurant/bar doesn't quite meet up to the expectations set by the former. The atmosphere is there, the staff is friendly (what there is of it), and the food was meh, at best.
I applaud the concept of the Chicken/Lumber Shack owner(s) to have the vision to take this venture to the next level. The execution, unfortunately, is lacking.
The very kind bar tender did tell me table wait staff is coming. After over a year in this new location, I hope it's not too little, too late.
The family used to love going here to eat, but last few times service has been non existent. My wife went to find a waiter/waitress and couldn’t find anyone even at the bar. For the price which is higher than others for chicken ( we had been ok with for atmosphere) the food is just eh as well. So unless you only going to eat for just the atmosphere then I suggest choosing another place. At least the chicken shack in Arcadia is still solid if must go to one of the locations. It’s just quite a bit further drive.
This place is a hidden jem. It's a converted lumber yard. It's a very cool idea for a restaurant. The food was on ????. The fried chicken was tasty and juicy. The crust was crispy and had a home cooked flavor, seasoned to perfection. I chose mashed potatoes and gravy they were delicious. The chicken fried steak was also crispy and flavorful and bigger than the bun. Fresh cut lettuce tomatoes and onions were added to the presentation. The fries were crispy and cooked perfectly. I'm definitely coming back and bringing my family. The customer service was great, nice, polite, and patient. Thumbs up, guys!
Do not recommend! Service was horrible. Not the fault of the waitstaff because they were obviously understaffed. The personnel were courteous and friendly but obviously stretched thin. The food was OK but nothing special. In spite of their creative terminology, the chicken was just fried chicken and the strips were no better than Canes or Zaxbys. This would be a 1 Star but the redeeming moment was how quickly we got our food after the ridiculously long wait to order. In summary, it's over priced average food with horrible service.
Great food, great live music and awesome atmosphere. Considering it was a very busy Friday night, the service was very good. The perfect redneck restaurant and bar. I really wanted to give a bad review so that it could be our little secret but I think it's too late. The word is out. The Lumber Shack is the place to be on a Friday night! The price I listed, per person, was just for food and we split a whole chicken and two sides between three people. One word about the bar, they do not skimp on the margaritas ????
