Having eaten breakfast here on many occasions over the last few years (in both Lounge 1 & 2) we decided to return yesterday during a day in Tenby.
I'm not sure what's changed but the breakfast were awful. There were no requests, scrambled egg or nothing and just shy of £10.
I understand these places are trying to stand out and be Instagram worthy but the metal tray? absolutely horrendous to eat from, the bottom would push down when you were cutting and then POP back up with a lovely metal clang and bounce.
The food itself was unbelievably dry, the only hope it was beans and they arrived in the smallest pot possible.
I'm not somebody who leaves reviews usually but whoever runs this cafe at the moment needs to be told.
I've already noticed I'm not the first raise these issues.
The greeting and service was ok although you are made to stand behind a barrier with a fairly firm notice ensuring you wait to be seated and I guess they're only doing what they've been told in regards to changing items or requesting of a fired egg.
Overall a very disappointing visit
I had breakfast here and asked for sausage and bacon to be crispy as I ate the day before and wasn't cooked properly. The same again today but sausages were raw. I am not one to complain to staff as I want what I asked and paid for. I will not eat here ever again.
lovely people. nice food. smoothie of the day was amazing. only issue is that it came with a plastic straw.
Lovely people but the food was awful. Full English was microwaved, the cheapest ingredients possible. Scrambled egg was like rubber, bacon was slimey, clearly not cooked fresh. Coffee was bitter as hell, tasted like the beans were old and stale. I couldn't eat it, I genuinely thought I would be ill if I finished it. The cakes looked nice so if you do go here maybe go for that and a cup of tea.
Perfect for a light bite with a coffee or hot chocolate. Portion sizes are not the largest so is idea for those looking for light lunch or snack. The baked camenbert is lovely!
Was quite busy when we turned up, but luckily managed to get the last table. Not much of a menu, but they do have a specials menu and additional cakes etc at the till.
Staff were really friendly and helpful. The drinks and cakes that we did have were nice as well. Definitely recommend.
Tiniest medium latte I've ever had. And unfortunately too hot and not a great taste. Nice looking establishment. Probably great for food but look elsewhere if it's just a coffee you are looking for.
Just been back. Forgot about my own review! Added photo of worlds tiniest "regular" latte next to a tea spoon!
This is not a place of you like coffee. I wish Google maps didn't offer it up as one. Having read other reviews I now understand why the coffee tastes terrible.
Fast and efficient service given by friendly staff. First class cakes. Well located in centre of town opposite church. Well worth a visit and popular with locals.
