Family. rum village pub. I really enjoyed home made pubclassic - fish&chips. Ideal place for rest after walking in near y Burton Dassey Hills.
What an amazing new venue, absolutely amazing service
What a lovely pub with the most amazing views and fantastic welcome. A real gem of a local village pub and part of the heartbeat of Northend. We have had some great times with you at The Red Lion, Northend, thank you. It has been a pleasure to have the pub open and running with lovely people for at least 70% of our last 11 years in Northend. When we move to Wales and come back to see friends we look forward to seeing whoever takes on the lovely village pub after you. We wish you all the very best Mark and Karen x
Well what a pub, great location good real ale, people eating food so that must be good.
The view from the front garden wonderful.
Popped in on the off chance and had very nice pies and puds. The Guinness was excellent as was the service. A nice, interesting chat with the landlord while we waited for the meals. We'll definitely be back when the sunshine so we can enjoy the views from the gardens.
Absolutely brilliant pub. Always served the local community well, I’ve been on countless quiz nights (never won). A credit to Northend and it will be a tragedy to see it go. Best luck to the owners and I wish them the happiest of retirements!
Lovely country pub. Great food and drink. They even brought out water and treats when they saw we had a dog with us. Garden very cosy and will go back again.
Well kept ale and an excellent curry wurst and fries
