A large English breakfast for £6.50? YES please. That's enough for 2 people. If you miss the breakfast till 11:30 you should get the mix grill. Definitely worth it. And is better than was on weatherspoons franchise. I recommend ????

Bar + upstairs room + corner balcony. Had 2 real ales 1 excellent the other tasted of blackcurrant. The pub needs a clean+ coat of paint .
Ex-Wetherspoons pub, previously no atmosphere, no music or sport! Now reasonable prices with same beer choice, music (live and piped) major sport also a phone quiz. Many more customers and a very lively atmosphere to boot! High on my list for a good night out
Normally don’t have a problem but today was the worst experience me & my wife have had to endure. I know weatherspoons gets a bad rep. I can see why….
From the moment you walk into the bar it’s as if you have interrupted a seance, as you get the looks from all the drinkers judging you instantly. Through the door, you are instantly hit with a smell of damp carpet and old wood trimmings.
We decided to go upstairs to eat our dinner as we didn’t feel like eating while people watch us eat…. To order food, it’s a trip back downstairs to the bar. £21 for burger meal and steak meal.
Back upstairs, and I sat with my very sweet Pepsi max. My wife had ordered the steak and me the burger.
The steak was not cooked to our liking of rare-well. more towards very well done. My burger was the driest burger I have ever had in all my life. The chips were horrible. It was as if these meals had already been out and were warmed up for us. The service from the waitress was awful, I asked for cutlery, the response was “I’ll bring it”. Salt n vinegar in sachets ? Come on for gods sake.
Mayo in sachets too ?
Avoid this place, if you want a burger go McDonald’s up the road.
Great value for money on food and beer,staff were excellent and great customer service.
Always good. The meal deals seem restrictive but aren't. Used to be a Spoons but was bought by the 4T Brewery (?). Still run on Tim's principles. As a Widnes supporter I'm slightly offended by the Wolves banners, but I quickly get over it!!!
