I expected more. The food was ok but the choices were very slim. In my opinion it by no means was worth the price of the food. The service was great though.
A hidden gem within Tifton. Been to Tifton a few times for work and thought the town only had chain restaurants.
Made reservations on a Wednesday for dinner that same night and had no issues getting a table for 3. Didn’t expect it to be a restaurant in an old house which was quite the experience. From entering, we were greeted with a very friendly front desk that got us seated and at the table our cold glass of water was already waiting for us.
Our waiter surely made it the experience. He was passionate with his work, friendly and professional. Gave us a whole run down on the specials being offered as well as the menu itself. Wish I would have remembered his name to give the recognition ????????.
Coming to GA for the last 3 years and finally had my first fried green tomato. Had to say it was tasty pairing with the sauce that was prepared.
Our main dishes were the short rib and pasta and chicken. Short rib looked amazing. My dish was the pasta and chicken which was unique it the way it’s prepared and very delicious.
I would say prices are on the mid-high side for Tifton but once relate to the quality and service, it is within range. We spend $188 including tips for 3 main course, 2 appetizers, and 3 drinks. I had to say the old fashion could be improved.
Definitely will come back again!!
Been here a few times now, and I’ve had a great experience every time. Super friendly staff, who are knowledgeable about the menu. Good craft beer selection, and cocktail list is pretty interesting and well put together. Beer list could be much better laid out (include brewery, style, abv, serving size, and price). Great decor and atmosphere. The food is always great. I keep ordering the brussel sprouts, and probably will continue to order them. Everything else on the menu has also been great. I will say that it’s not the most vegetarian friendly, but I keep finding fun foods to try. Prices are fair, especially considering the quality.
My family and I had a WONDERFUL experience here tonight. I had the stuffed leg of lamb and it was absolutely delightful. My first time ever having leg of lamb and I hope it's not my last. My partner had the fried chicken penne pasta, and words can't describe the magnificent flavors in one pasta dish. Our server tonight was Madison and she made the experience flow so well as did Miss fabulous Jen. I'm very happy that I booked a reservation to do this a few weeks ago. A wonderful place like this is not somewhere you come to eat and dash this is a full experience and it takes time for quality food. So I recommend everyone to make a reservation and check them out sometime. Chef David really knows what flavors flow well together and can whip up a dish that's incredible. No one in my group was disappointed at all and a lot of clean plates went back into that kitchen tonight. This place is definitely a treasure trove for a culinary experience compared to many in its area. The entire team there is incredible at what they do and genuinely care about their work and service. Thank you.
A farm-to-table restaurant in Tifton!? I was very surprised to see this and decided to check it out. The menu changes often and will have 4-5 main dishes and a variety of small plates, appetizers, salads etc. They also have a decent cocktail selections and multiple craft beer options. Since I had walked in pretty close to their closing time, some of the main dishes like the beef specialty etc. were all gone. I tried to seared tuna for my main dish which tasted very fresh. The presentation could have been better but overall it was good. I will definitely revisit this place next time I am back in Tifton, hopefully go a little earlier in the evening while they have more options available.
When I asked a local coffee shop. Where to go for the best meal. They sent me to The Local. In a late 1800s home, and now home of one of the best local meals you will find in #Georgia . Like this Shrimp Orzo @thelocaltifton it’s atmosphere will take you back in time and the flavors will bring you back.

The food was absolutely delicious . It was seasoned to perfection, the flavors were fabulous together. The drinks were smooth and refreshing. We will be back to see what's new on the menu since it changes every few weeks. The staff was very attentive.
Stopped in for an early dinner while just passing through. They were able to squeeze us in at the bar. Everyone on staff was absolutely lovely, the food and drinks were excellent, and the service was outstanding. I highly recommend this place, but try to make a reservation to make sure you can get seats.
