The Little Griddle. I thought this was a rather nice little meal I had. To get to The Little Griddle, you have to drive in an industrial estate, hence why I have scored low on the atmosphere. Aside from this small negative, I overall enjoyed my food, I thought it came prepared nicely in tin foil with a nice serviette. I parked completely illegally, however, that was my choice and not forced upon me from The Liddle Griddle. The staff included a lovely woman who served me in a matter of minutes and was very pleasant to be around; would recommend, the three stars seems low, but I assure you, this is a very nice place to get a quick snack, and this is not a bad review.
Absolutely fantastic place to stop off for food and drink whether it’s one of the variety of great burgers and chips, a slap up English breakfast, chicken or just soft drinks, tea or coffee. Great prices, plenty of meal choices and superb attentive service. Would definitely recommend.

Boys loved their burger meals, can't beat a hash brown on the cheese burgers. Very tasty veggie burger (not like the cardboard I'm often served) for me thank you very much, fresh salad, hot food and lovely to sit out in the sunshine today.
Warm welcome from friendly staff, really good prices, delicious food.
Lovely little spot for a quick bite to eat, near the canalside. Conveniently situated at the very top of the hill, for those working nearby who don’t fancy a trek back up after visiting the shops. It has a varied menu and covered seating area, catering to carnivores and veggies alike. A warm welcome and a great value brekkie or lunch await you at this little gem. Don’t miss the speciality bread pudding and festive hot chocolate!
Ate at and from here a couple of times whilst staying at Hawne Basin. A very good and filling full English as the sit down (outdoors) and a couple of really good and filling baps as takeaways (bacon and sausage/bacon, egg and mushrooms). A special mention also to the bread pudding… lovely cold, awesome when heated up later.
It may be tucked out of the way but is well worth hunting out!
What a hidden gem. I ordered lunch and I wasn’t disappointed. I had cheese on toast. There was plenty cheese and a lovely hot chocolate. So hit the spot. Chrissy was so friendly. You won’t be disappointed if you try The little griddle. ????
Absolutely vile!! I’ve never tasted food so bad. I found hair in my burger!! It’s a food truck based outside of a factory, dust flying everywhere all over the food. There was rats running around the bins and to top it off health and safety was completely thrown out the window, no gloves or hair nets was worn, the guy was coughing everywhere. And then for four days after that me and my son had serve food poisoning, absolutely disgusting. All we wanted to do was visit daddy at work, so sad ????
