Wonderful little cafe - with lots of seating inside. Very friendly staff.
Had the porridge and it was excellent. I will gladly come back here
This is a nice place for everything from a smoothie to a full English breakfast.
The bacon was good, as were the pork and leek sausages.
Service was quick and friendly.
Pastry selection looked good, but a little limited.
I witnessed in the shop the other day a form of bullying from a customer to the young waitress! Going through the reviews and have seen this customer is now sharing false information! The poor waitress done her best to accommodate the extremely rude customer arguing over bread that was served on her plate rather than listening to what the waitress had to say cut her off at every given moment and not one member of her team helped back her up just left her mercifully to this horrible woman who clearly was just out for a free meal absolute disgrace from this woman and her team I hope the waitress is ok
I was greeted beautifully when entering the Caffè by the kind waiter, the dynamic between the waitors seemed to amazing. I ordered a full English breakfast which was served to me in a reasonable time and was delightful. The Caffè itself was crystal clean and the atmosphere was calm and the waitors were kind and helpful throughout. Would 100% recommend to anyone including families as the place is kid friendly suggested by the clean highchairs for younger children that are available to use!
Had a meeting in the area and needed somewhere to have lunch and work as I was early. Spotted Little Battersea Baker and decided to give it a go. A great decision. Delicious club sandwich and lovely coffee. Will defo visit again if I am in the area.
The server needs to be trained/changed. I ordered a battersea signature and my husband ordered a full English. Both said they have white or seeded sourdough ( I missed the option but just read sourdough) , server did not ask us which one we preferred and brought out food out with PLAIN WHITE BREAD. I let the server know that there is no sourdough on our plates but just white bread which we never eat, to which she replied “we don’t have sourdough “ I went “why didn’t you let us know?” To which she said very curtly ” I am not the chef, I don’t know what’s in stock, it’s not a waitresses job to know” we were bewildered by this response and I sent the dish back, she agreed to take the charge off the bill.
When my husband went to pay the bill, she said “we can’t take it off the bill as it was served” my husband went “ you literally just said you would and you have served us the wrong bread and didn’t let us know” after some more back and forth she didn’t charge us for my meal but said “ in the future please remember that the waitress isint supposed to know these things, I am not the cook” my husband goes “ who else is supposed to know? How are we to know what’s in stock in your kitchen?” Of course she just said the same thing but we had enough and paid for his meal and left.
PS: She let us know that they are out of smoothies, so unless she brings them from home she sure does know what’s in stock :)
Very-very tasty breakfast! Exactly what I need on a cold winter's morning. Nice place, the staff is friendly. Go there and try the Battersea special (with avocado) or full English breakfast and you'll enjoy it for sure as I did.
Very rude ????. The waitress messed my order up twice and basically called me a liar . The food took forever but don't know why as the eggs were hardly cooked so I didn't eat them as asked for well done .My husband refused to pay for my meal to which the owner agreed ( he was nice ) the waitress should be sacked as she is sure to lose him Customers
