Have waited a long long time to eat here, but always a long line and I simply dislike the wait. FINALLY today on good Friday there was no one. I parked fast and truly worth the months I've waited. The hostess, likely the owner was extremely pleasant. Chicken wrap was absolutely ???? delicious, the tomatoes were fresh and the tzaziki sauce just perfect. It's a hole in the wall with the very best food. Forget Hellas just opposite, this Limani is superb. The outside searing is pleasant as well. Thank you, we will be back ! And will wait if need be ????
We absolutely love this place. If you like Greek food, you will love Limani's. Located dockside right at the sponge dock's in tarpon Springs. Fun atmosphere and the food is fabulous. I have to stop by and get a gyro whenever we go to Tarpon. Best Gyros around.
I'm sorry to George for not posting a review sooner. This has been the go-to place for my father and I for the past 25 years. Thee best pitas on the Sponge docks...hands down. It's not a full service sit down restaurant, but it's got the basics...n it's Da ????!!!
It's outside seating, right along the river. It's got covered and uncovered seating so you can enjoy the elements of a beautiful Florida day...or protection from the elements on a hot summer day. Cash only, but there is ATM right in front. Extra meat for a few extra bucks is well worth it for my go to of the pork souvlaki.
The Feta Fries are a MUST!!
Did a solo trip and visited some shops as my first time. Was craving some fish, found this little spot along the docks and really enjoyed both the atmosphere and the food! The fish was SUPER fresh and cooked perfectly. Will be back to try their gyros!

If you’re strolling dockside on Dodecanese Blvd and come across an outdoor line up of customers it’s probably for The Limani.
Follow your nose and order to the delight of your tastebuds. When we’re in tarpon town the Chicken Kabob Plate (it comes with fries and greek salad!) and Pita & Tzatziki Sauce side is a spongedocks staple!
One orders another plays lookout for seats. Stay close-by for when they holler your name…order up!!!

The food here is great.
One of my fav spot to get Chicken and Salad: Limani Salad.
Their fries are good as well specially the Garlic Fries. They only accept cash so be prepare.
I would recommend and will be back.
