Tough not tender or juicy it something you can most definitely skip. Steak only comes well done but was very chewy and I only ate two bites. My girlfriend ordered the chicken wings with the fingerlicking sauce it was dry even though it had been over sauced.
We arrived at 8pm exactly on a Sunday and the "security" told us we had to do to go orders. When we ordered the cashier informed us that we had to wait outside or in the patio for our to-go orders. This is a great location and far from the Universal Studios area but they need to set standards on training employees and having better fresh food.
The positives: the greens and yams were good.
The food was amazing the music was jamming the staff were great, it was a whole vibe. The whole family enjoyed everything they ordered, I will be there every time I’m in Orlando it was delicious I had the baked chicken Mac and cheese and collard greens and didn’t have to add anything not even hot sauce. I recommend it if you want great quality food this is the place. The licking ????????????
We did take out and got home and was missing a while turkey wing meal, rice, and mac and cheese. This was such a disappointment! We called up there and they were closed so one person in our party went to bed hungry!!Now we are waiting until they open to go back up there and hopefully get my food!! This was such an inconvenience!
The food however was good from what I did taste
If I could give 0 stars I would. After placing an online order at 8:07 pm, the restaurant said our order would be ready at 8:45pm. We drove to the restaurant and even made a pit stop. Got there around 8:50pm. We order $150 worth of food. When we arrived, the girls at the register could not find our order. Then said they were still making it. They let us know that they would text when the order was ready. We weren’t allowed to wait inside and was told to wait in our car or the patio. At 9:13 pm, we got the text the food was ready. I checked the bag, and noticed that I had to sides missing and a chicken quesadilla missing. I told the cashiers and they immediately brought the sides and said the chicken quesadilla would come right up. As we waited, an argument broke out in the back kitchen. The cooks started cussing and arguing after one of the hosts asked if they had fish tacos. Then the hosts/cashiers started arguing and cussing with each other. We asked three different people about our chicken quesadilla. At 10:13pm, we still hadn’t gotten our chicken quesadilla. I asked for a manager. Was told the manager was cooking in the back. It was complete chaos. Completely unprofessional. I’ve eaten here before and was raving about this place to my out of town relatives but I won’t be suggesting it anymore. We got our food around 10:20pm. When we finally got home, the chicken wings we ordered were hard, old and stale. They were small. The lobster tail was not edible. The yams and Mac and cheese had seen better days. Everything was cold. The food tasted like it had been in a freezer for years and then microwaved. The chicken quesadilla we waited so long for looked like it had been thrown together. Never again.
I visited this place due to the IG reviews. It’s right near a mall and has ample parking. Our waitress, Jasmyn was a sweetheart. She took her time to explain the menu since we were first-timers. We ordered the wing sampler. It comes with three different wing flavors. The wings are a good size but were fried too hard. We also had the chicken quesadillas and the wing platters. They were large portions and flavorful. The mystery drink was good. We will definitely one back.
Food was really good. The greens I had were seasoned well but a little salty to me. I really liked that they used turkey instead of pork. The shrimp and grits were slightly salty too. But good flavor. Chicken wings were perfect, Mac and cheese was good as well. Mystery drink was really refreshing.
I ordered lemon pepper wing dinner with rice & peas & yams & conch.My husband ordered hot wings & fries. My chicken was old & salty & the rice and peas was gummy & old it definitely doesn’t taste like rice & peas. The waiter smelled like weed. Once I got my food I told the waiter to take the wing dinner off & I would just pay for my drinks & my appetizer. She stated that I can’t get a refund on your food. So I asked for the manager & asked him would he eat that old black chicken & said no. So I told him to take the 2 dinners off & I would pay for the rest. So he said they have a no refund policy. I then said why it’s not put up in the restaurant because now you are basically saying I have to pay for something that I don’t want. So he said that the waiter was supposed to tell me there are no refunds coming thru the door. So I said I don’t want anything off the menu. So he ended up taking off 1/2 the bill & I just ordered shrimp & fries & my husband got a quesadilla & fries.
We went on a Friday afternoon and it wasn't very busy. I was shocked because of all that I had heard about this place. Everyone ordered something different, and none of us were disappointed. The conch and fries were the bomb, and they tasted fresh. I did not expect to get as much as I did, but I definitely took care of that, lol! I tasted the lobster mac n cheese.... SPEECHLESS!! It was amazing! The fried Talapia was delicious as well. I ordered the Mystery drink, which tasted good. The presentation of it threw me off because it didn't look very tasty. I got a chance to try the blue drink, which was the blue lemonade... Now that was a really good drink.
Our wait wasn't very long from the time we were seated until the time we got our food out, and it was all fresh. I loved it! It's a must do again.
