Good real ales and an old traditional pub with a homely atmosphere.
This is a proper pub, but no frills in a nice way. Great atmosphere, friendly folk, bit of banter, nice ranger of draught beer and cider, a HAPPY HOUR, and a skittle alley. Brilliant

The landlord Jim was fantastic, put on a great spread. A great host. Can't speak highly enough of him or the pub!
No heating until novemer so its very cold in the lamb at the moment .... they do not ring a bell at time so they stop serving when they feel like it if its busy you can get an extra drink but if its quiet you cant .. land lord rules ... i didnt find this a friendly pub at all been twice will not go again..
Fantastic family run pub …….. Amazing atmosphere and the Thursday night menu is absolutely unbelievable - Definitely worth a visit on a Thursday evening just for the food.
Our lovely local! Can't fault it. Great food and drink and service to match! ????
