Best KPortal Reviews
The best pub in Eastbourne, for its local beer ale - Harvey's - as well as being the most historical and well-preserved pub in Old Town Eastbourne. I had my birthday party last year and it was simply beautiful, staff very knowledgeable and welcoming.
Whenever the occasion is presented, my girlfriend and I will always make time for a jar at the Lamb.
See you soon!
Popped in for lunch and a pint of Harvey's. The beer (Old Ale) was was in tip top condition and the food was excellent. I had the homemade steak & Ale pie which was served with mash, green beans, red cabbage, mashed swede and lovely gravy. One of the best pub meals I have had for a long time and it was well presented. All of this in a traditional cosy pub. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
The roast was delicious but was charged a bit extra. A roast in Brighton costs no more than 15 but it costed me 19 quids here. But the staff is really nice, friendly and kind and the sun was shining on my face :) so all is forgotten!
Historic pub in old town reputed to have tunnels to the church next door. Old well inside pub. Low ceilings and a couple of bars plus a function room upstairs. Not the cheapest is Eastbourne but always worth a visit.
A lovely rustic inn with low ceilings and a warm welcome. Excellent choice of ale. We stayed in the George & Dragon room which was very roomy and well furnished. Lovely comfortable bed and good quality beding. Top quality breakfast cooked to order. I have no hesitation recommending this inn.
Fantastic stay. Excellent hosts, great pub, central location, delicious breakfast and a perfect nights sleep. ???? recommend. Thank you
Visited with family on Xmas eve, great atmosphere, I would describe as similar to old fashioned local pubs. This one has two bars and also an area for food, I'm guessing bookings required as it was packed.
Warm welcoming atmosphere. Food is first class and service fast and friendly. Not the cheapest in town but up there with the very best. My favourite pub in Eastbourne and the first place I take my guests when they visit.
