While vacationing in New Hampshire, we went to dinner at the Lakeview Tavern. We were seated and served promptly. The food was good, and our server was pleasant. In the end, we were happy we chose to go to dinner here. The place was busy and it seemed like most, if not all the other customers here were from the area.
All we ordered was three burgers... Two medium and one medium well but one came back rare, and the other two were overcooked and all of them came with one lousy piece of lettuce and cheese that had been melted to non existence. I sent mine back because i was the only one being honest about my order so I tried to replace it with a prime rib sandwich but even that was served ice cold... On the plus side the manager was really nice and tried to make sure my order came out right, the waitresses were enthusiastic, and it's a nice view. Hopefully this will encourage them to step up their game because they like to claim that they have the "best burgers on the lake" but at that time I would've been better off cooking one at home.
Quickest service , drinks were soooo good, the staff is so nice!! Chicken is really good, and I’m very picky with my chicken since I’m a flexitarian, loved the food here
Great little place to have a few drinks and play some pool, fooseball or darts, listen to music, and relax and conversate with the locals and/or their small, but fabulous, personable, all around awesome staff. Some just come in to grab a quick bite to eat. Either way, you will be pleased you went. Their drink prices, as well as dining prices are very reasonably priced and very generous portions and quality. A while back, my husband, brother in law, and myself, went there on a whim one Saturday night, and we have been going back, recommending and bringing others, as often as we can.
Wanted to try lunch out at a local business but cut our experience short. Server was clearly frazzled, which is understandable during lunch rush, but her attitude was rude enough to make everyone uncomfortable and when she laughed in my husband's face for ordering a margarita we decided that was enough for us. We'll be happier to go elsewhere to have a nicer experience. We never even bothered to order food and the drinks were terrible.
Great place to watch the game. Nashville Chicken sandwich was delicious.
This is my favorite restaurant. The staff is fun and happy. The mixed drinks are perfect and OMG the French Fries are hand cut! I’ve never had a bad meal. Never disappointed. If I could give 10 stars I would. Thanks Lake View Tavern (I even celebrated my birthday there)

Was a good place to get drinks at a reasonable price, until they said they were closing, they said they'd be open another couple weeks, went there tonight and the place was already closed and empty. Thanks for telling us.
