First time having a meal in the Kirkton Inn since the new owners took over. Food was delicious, I had the yummy macaroni. Food is very reasonably priced, decor is modern and airy. Staff very friendly. Plenty of tables as well . Great food and great prices, just what Carluke needs .
Had sizzling steak fajitas (chef's special) and they were delicious ???????? also the bar staff were really good and very friendly (in particular Danielle). The place was reasonably busy so service was quick considering and we didn't have to wait for either the meal being served nor being served at the bar. All in all, a reasonably priced dinner, served by nice people and having EM as company made it a pleasant and enjoyable evening. Steve the chef has also to be mentioned for his tremendous effort and to his kitchen staff - so well done guys and gal!! ????????????
We hired upstairs for a party, came with a bar, dance floor, good space and a dj. the staff were very helpful and friendly, drinks were cheap and had some great special offers
Have been several times for meals and drinks since the new owners & management took over last year. Staff are lovely with the customers, always had great service, nothing is too much trouble. Food is delicious and beautifully presented. Always had a fabulous meal, cannot fault the quality and value for money. The Manager/Owner Chris welcomes any feedback and quickly sorts out any concerns. Also he is happy to hear our requests, eg- for good quality wines, which he sorted out and then duely improved the wine selection. Huge selection of quality spirits and beers too. They are really working hard to make the business a success, not just for themselves, but for the Customers from Carluke and afar who appreciate a Great wee local pub.
As I follow them on Facebook, I get frequent updates of their themed nights and what's on different nights. Oh and it's a dog friendly pub too!! What's not to love? Top marks from me!

The best thing about this place was the bar maid, portion was to small for the price ,steak pie where do i start, meat could have done with an extra 20mins cooking time, gravy was salty if you can call it that pulled pork tasty ,must be out a packet and portion yet again to small, only getting two for the bar maid..
My favourite place to go, quiet at the right times and busy on the expected times, great service and atmosphere, unlikely to encounter a bad crowd in here if you go. Family friendly environment up until food has stopped being served for the day. A garden out the back for smoking or also for enjoying the sun if you want to order food out here (although keep in mind that this is the only place people have to go and smoke so you will have to deal with the smell of smoke rather than judge them for going to the only place they can smoke). Good selection of drinks but lately have become pricey, there isn't really any excuse for a small town pub to have more expensive drinks than Glasgow or Edinburgh, this is true for every drink I have bought over the past half year in this pub, so spend wisely.
The Kirkton inn is open again for who knows how long. Very quiet tonight but can't fault the prices. 4 drinks and change from a tenner. What's not to like about that? Check it out as it deserves to be a bit busier!
Poor standard of customer relations are to be found in this establishment. My main course of chicken goujons came with side salad and "hand cut chips". Unfortunately the care taken cutting the chips was not matched by the care taken cooking them. They were decidedly very brown and soggy. When this was brought to the attention of a member of staff, another plate was provided to place the "hand cut chips" upon. Nothing was done apart from this to remedy the complaint. No replacement "hand cut chips"; no financial consideration when paying the bill. Simple. Won't be back.
