Sorry to say we didn't enjoy the chips from neptunes. Soggy, oily and cold chips so put us off eating the rest of our meal. Clearly cheap potatoes are used and could tell the difference... come on neptunes quality is lacking.
Don't now how to cook fish greasy and dry won't be going there again ????..
Possibly the worst chip shop in England. Who in their right mind microwaves southern fried chicken also the chips were rank, needs shutting down
Good, cooked well hot and fresh best chip shop in Thurrock . The potion size could be slightly more generous a large is more like a medium.
Very consistent local chippy, my Dad goes in there regularly and never unhappy. Fish is good and the portions of chips huge (a small is too big for both of us to share!)

Food is hit or miss. Sometimes it's lovely, sometimes its absolutely rank. On my last visit here, the chips was rank, god knows how many the chips was re-fried, because it was hard dry and crispy, plus you could the saturated oil in the chip where it been re-fried so many times, very disapointing since they increase there price with inform you before you purchase or update the overhead menu board list, plus they are lazy they you to put your salt vinegar etc for you, instead they tell to do it yourself, charming customer service. Also twice order a Doner roll, twice with only the bottom half the burger bun present forgetting the top half on two occasions. visited again today 9/2/2022, found the women with glasses who served me rude and ignorant and racist, regardless of the owners being a ethnic minority like myself, she could not even say thank you and please, but she can say it to the two carcausian (white) women who was in the shop with me. once again the chip was over fried god knows amount times the chip have been re fried.
I had some potatoes with cheese, but I can say that they were not ok, it was as if they had sand in them, as they actually crunched in my mouth
