Sadly this used to be my favorite place in town. However the food quality vs price don't match up anymore. The fish n chips sent out with no tartar sauce on a to-go order was disappointing to me. The fries were not as hot and crisp as they used to be and the ranch was still good at least. We used to be asked if we wanted to order a drink while we waited or played machines but not the last few times we had been there.
For the place being in a small town it was amazing! They definitely put thought into their cooking because everything we ordered were perfect! The menu has a large variety of items, and it was hard to choose something. I highly recommend this place!
Visited today for lunch while on a work trip. Had the patty melt. Burger was so chewy I couldn’t even eat it. The quality of food was poor…cafeteria like….except the soup which was decent. Service was ok but we asked to have two separate checks. The ticket was literally torn in half in front of us then the server walked away. We thought it was a joke but it wasn't. My friend ordered a sandwich only, no fries or soup and was charged full price for the “combo”, meat on her Rueben was also chewy and almost inedible. Owner walked by and grabbed a handful of cash and receipts from the register and approached our waitress and yelled “no one is stealing money…it was right there in the drawer" and then stomped away right in front of us eating lunch. Overall not a good experience and menu is overpriced. Defiinitely will not be back.
The food is very salty but my partner really likes it. This isn’t a pro or a con just saying. Chicken dumpling soup is 10/10. I am not sure how the billing works here I never am charged what is in the ticket/menu. I don’t know if they have tip is already included/if they charge for refill? It is still okay price. Never have to wait to sit down, service is pretty fast.
Very friendly..food was very good..if your hungry you will not be when you leave..the Juliana salid was very filling..there soup was amazing...yes we will go again...♥︎
Older restaurant. Average American fare. Good service. Somewhat limited menu. We had a late breakfast, so they weren't very busy.
This food was so good and it was only $12! I was passing through the area and decided to stop off for some breakfast. Such a beautiful part of the world and such a delightful meal. I will definitely return if I am ever in the area.
Baked spaghetti would be similar to chef boyardee with cheese on top. Chicken strips could pass as fish. The wisconsin cheese soup in interesting, like weird. I don't think folks from Wisconsin would endorse it. Service was good. Speed of delivery was good. Food Quality is poor even for a diner. We couldn't finish anything.
