Allison, our server, did a great job. I had oysters and my wife had the fried calamari, both were delicious. We each also had a bucket of snow crab and shrimp and all were delicious as well. We’ll definitely be back!
Good meal. Friendly staff. The meals are large. We had the wings, steak and grilled fish all which were very good. Dessert was large and I could have done without it! Keylime pie was good but I found the chocolate cake dry and heavy.
Would good back for the food as it was good.
The best thing about the Ketch was the oysters. From there, it went downhill fast. The waiter kept forgetting everything. I asked for crackers for the oysters, and he forgot, and he finally brought me oyster crackers instead, but it was right after I told him I wanted the saltine crackers.
He took my son's glass to refill it and forgot to bring it back until I told him to. There were other things he messed up, but why beat a dead horse, which is what I think they used for the steak my son ordered. I don't think the waiter will make it.
The fish and chips were ok, but the fish was very oily, the fries were very good.
My wife's order was so rubbery she couldn't eat it.
Overall I am sad to say my family was disappointed with The Ketch and even though I'm glad I tried it we probably won't be going back and I wouldn’t recommend it, which is a shame because I was really looking forward to eating there.
Great seafood restaurant! You can always tell by the parking lot if the place is going to be good and this place was great!! It was packed when we got there but we were quickly seated. We started off with the peel and eat shrimp(cold) and the Mrs. had the fried fish with fried okra while I enjoyed the fish and chips! The other couple with us had the Shrimp and Grits and the blackened fish tacos!! Everyone throughly enjoyed their meals! The waitress was fabulous checking back on us often to see if we needed anything!! Great place so if you haven't been check it out!!
This place is great. Our server Carly was the best she was so attentive. The food was so delicious. We ate our fill of seafood which is what we were craving. Everything was cooked perfect the Sangria picture made 8 glasses so definitely a good deal. We will be back. Thanks to the Ketch.
Absolutely the best food and kind service of nearly any restaurant!! My son got the crayfish and shrimp bucket. It was a LOT of food, plus two sides. My husband got a HUGE dish of shrimp and grits that were incredibly flavorful. There was enough for two meals. I got the scallops with a salad and okra. So good!! The salad was so fresh and a good size as well. We got Chesapeake oysters and fried banana rings for appetizers and it was more than enough for three of us to share. We look forward to visiting again next time we are in Lexington!!
All I can say is WOW. Best seafood I've had since I lived in Florida. She had the grilled Oysters and the Oyster Rockefeller and coleslaw. I had the Shrimp and Scallop Rockefeller Linguini, calamari, anda salad. The grilled oysters were so good, we got another order before we left. Five stars for sure and we will definitely be back!

Nice local seafood spot that has been a staple since I was a kid. The staff was kind and accommodating.
We ordered Calamari & fresh Oysters for appetizers. For dinner I ordered the Andouille Crawfish & Shrimp Bucket. Others at the table ordered Crabcakes, Rainbow Trout, & Voodoo Casserole. The food came out quickly and it was hot, well seasoned, and delicious. The sides were awesome too. I had fried green tomatoes, hush puppies & red beans and rice.
Slightly pricey, but well worth it.
