We ordered fish and chips for delivery at 5:25 it finally arrived at 7pm.
I wish I had driven to East Leake Fish and Chips instead. It would have been cheaper, nicer, and a lot quicker! ????
Daylight robbery at its finest..... they are expensive for sure which i wouldnt mind too much if the food and portions was great but ita far fron that. My first visit and definitely will be my last. Almost 5 pounds for tiny chips curry sauce and cheese. Like i say ill be avoiding and advise the rest of to aswell
I've lived in the village for around 5 years and have been a regular user of the fish bar.
90% of the time the food is great, but occasionally issues occur. Mostly this seemed to be down to inexperienced staff. Recently this seems to have improved ad I haven't had any cause for complaint and I am happy to recommend them again to friends.

AmaZing chips, genuinely well cooked and fresh. Kind and helpful owners. All negative reviews are from 5years ago. The current management know their stuff and are bang on. Large chips will feed four people
Absolutely terrible place, expensive and cold food. Order small tray of chips, curry sauce and a saveloy, £6.90 chips were mankey, 1 scoop of curry sauce and the saveloy was stone cold. Shocking... I'll be using the other chip shop going forward.. avoide this place at all costs - terrible.
Excellent fish and chips: fresh fish, generous size, cooked fresh to order. Guy behind me ordered a kebab: it looked pretty good too and I'll be trying that next time

Terrible food! Cod n chips with no actual cod inside the rock hard batter. Nothing on display or even offered too see and check your food before quickly wrapped. Very SLY! And the cheeseburger and chips with the burger uncooked raw pink in the Center. I am personally offended by this tonight. This is no award winning standard food. Absolutely the worst cod n chips we have ever purchased. As for the burger that’s just a complete uncooked mess I’m disgusted and threw the lot in the bin. £11.40! Completely wasted. I will not come back ever again! Disgusted and offended!
