This is a nice little korea restaurant right here in Anchorage. The menu isn't too big but I think that's what makes the amount of items they do have taste good. I went with the triangle gimbap. It was pretty good. I'll have to get some more items the next time I go.
We stopped in while we were waiting for the flowers to be arranged down the street. I got a sweet rice tea, as we had eaten already. We had a question about something for sale and a Korean woman in her mid 30’s popped out. She looked like the chef. The place has plenty of seating, plants and a great vibe. I want to go back and try the food, my drink was yummy.
Service was typical korean to go or sit down spot, there were 3 tables to sit and eat. What makes it so great is the food. That spicy pork was great. it's pretty spendy at $18 dollars, but it is worth that taste. It reminds me of Jerry's doughnut korean food and doughnut. Taste great and come with fish cake and pickle daikon. I loved it. The spicy tune triangle was ok, tasty but not amazing, lol. Gimbap was good. Taste the same as the one at Central Market, but about double the price. But that spicy pork makes up for everything for me, lol. I'm going there for my spicy pork craving from now on..
I was so excited to try ‘The K Food’ and let me just say they did NOT disappoint! We ordered their Bulgogi bento, Pork cutlet bento & Gimbap! Everything was so delicious and I loved that their dressings for the salads were good as well. We will of course be back and this time we know to order 2 orders of Gimbap because it was that good! Must try if you’re on the west side of anchorage or looking for another Korean restaurant to try!
My siblings and I enjoyed the food! We agreed that it’s got the best toppoki in town. I am not a fan of tuna but the triangle tuna kimbap was amazing and absolutely full of flavor!! Highly recommend! <3
First time impression: Wonderful! I got the spicy pork and it was sublime. Friendly, quick service. I don’t know if people eat there; it’s mostly just a counter. If today is any indication of their quality I will be a devoted customer forever.
No frills Korean food, prepared mostly for takeaway although they do have a few chairs and tables. I got bibimbap and also received a gift of tasty soup.
Not enough words can help me boast about this place and how good it is ! What amazes me is when you walk in, it's a considerate small place- but the flavors of the food make it seem to big !!
I had ordered Bibimbap , Gimbap , Nutella , Custard , and Red Bean Paste Bungeoppang , and Kalbi Dosirak and Spicy Tuna !! The flavors are amazing and they cook as you order .
I'm in love with all of the food !!
I believe who I interacted with was the owner and she's this small lady who continued to have patience with me and help me order . She is phenomenal!!
She also gave me a free Bungeoppang that's was filled with "PIZZA" and I've never tasted it before .
