Last place to stop and get gas if you're headed down to the Lakes until you get to the Lakes. Good options on snacks haven't eaten at the restaurant staff seem like they work on a remedial Railroad. Good view of storms as they roll through from this location. Also I have firewood for sale.

They have a fantastic diner. Gabe is a good cook and makes sure you get what you paid for. You never leave hungry. A good selection in the store for snacks and beer. Eric is one of the most helpful cashiers you'll ever meet. He remembers your name and gives a greeting every time one returns.

Great people, nice little local diner, gas in competitively priced, drive and lot is a little on the rustic side, but country folk will survive.
It's a tourist trap.prices are outrageous for such a tiny store ????
Rude staff. Made a gas purchase and though it was put through multiple times it didn't finish the transaction. So we ended up with over 6 pre-auth's on our acct. My husband was upset about all this and their claiming the purchase he saw was from a previous day (which it wasn't). What happened to customer is always right? They threatened to call the cops if we didn't pay (under $6) and then threatened to call the cops if we didn't leave. Serious. I would never go here their newest staff are terrible.
A good local place with good food and friendly staff.
