What a fab place to find... Enjoyed a beautiful Tomato, Butternut Squash And Coconut Soup today and was teased and tempted by all the delicious looking sweet treats. Did buy some handmade mince pies for the festive season. A highly recommended cafe but beware the parking is a nightmare if you have mobility issues and it was extremely busy at midday. But do not let that put you off, make the effort.
The Jolly Sandwich Bar deserves its many awards and accolades. Its owner, Hazel JOHNSTON, has been leading the management for 15 years. It's not just the excellent breakfast, lunch, and cake offerings that make this a worthwhile stop, but the warmth and charm of the staff and fellow customers. You'll leave with a full belly and a warm heart!
A very busy little cafe, queues outside when we arrived. The staff were helpful and friendly. A large selection of beautiful desserts on display.
Food was lovely and fast service.
Only criticism was no music which would have added to the ambiance. Otherwise a lovely little spot.
A great spot for lunch or a coffee. Great selection of beautiful tray bakes. Place is small but queue moved quickly despite it being lunchtime. Clean toilets. Nice decor. Staff very friendly and helpful.

They look so good and taste even better. The cakes are for my taste a little bit too sweet and heavy but still so delicious.
Had breakfast one morning would say average, although looking at the lunch menue that looked really good. Will call again and try.
