Wery friendly pub, good food and service. Highly recommending.
Very friendly staff and service. The food arrived quickly and was generous. The roast dinner was plentiful with very fresh vegetables in a side dish. Gravy was also served separately, which was very much to our liking. Dessert was a good portion. There was no pressure to rush and the pub itself was warm, cosy and welcoming with a roaring fire.
I've, just got back From The Jolly Farmer, after having a Mother's Day meal there .
It was Superb .
The service from the 2 young girls , was outstanding.
All of the staff were so friendly , the hospitality , was excellent.
Then the meal.
Well , It was Delicious, cooked to perfection .
The meal was served hot , and fresh. We could not fault a single thing.
Then , I went to pay the bill, and was presently shocked, as I was expecting to be paying much more than I did.
So if your looking for somewhere present to go where the atmosphere and hospitality , is excellent.
The food and service cooked and served to the highest standards, then I thoroughly recommend, you visit The Jolly Farmer.
You will not regret it .

The food was lovely. Came out hot to all at our table of 9 people. The service was excellent and the pub cosy and warmed by a lovely fire. Nice welcoming atmosphere ???? ☺️
This place is becoming a favourite of ours.
My Family (of seven) and I had Sunday dinner here yesterday 17th December 2023. The whole experience was fabulous. The food was lovely and served hot. From the starter to the desert. Very enjoyable indeed. With a choice of Roast chicken, beef, lamb or pork everything was catered for and nothing was too much trouble.
A huge thank you to everyone of you for making our visit very enjoyable indeed.
I have previously had lots of meals at the Jolly Farmer in Brancaster (which I loved) but this is my first visit to The Jolly Farmer at Moulton Chapel and I really do look forward to my next visit to The Jolly Farmer at Moulton Chapel.

We went for lunch on a Tuesday and arrived at around 13:30. On arrival we were greeted by smiles from some of the locals. The barmaid was joking with them and as she was taking our order, we became included in the conversation. It was a pleasant surprise due to the fact that we have London accents.
The lunch menu was marked for 'seniors' and was cheap and cheerful: ham, egg and chips, pie, chips and peas etc. It was all pre-made supermarket cafe food with oven chips etc. However, this description is not meant to denigrate from the food - at £5 for a meal, it was on par with a supermarket cafe lunch and was passable as that. It catered for its main customers - locals who pop in for a beer, a chat and a quick cheap bite.
All in all, I can recommend a visit if you are passing It's a good local pub, with cheerful staff and a happy atmosphere.
