Jacobs krackawheat , my absolute favourite for years. what have you done? ruined my christmas. No flavour, no salt, no colour. Never again
What have you done to my favourite cracker which is Krackawheat.? I noticed recently the packets are now filled differently stacked vertically but that wasn,t the problem you have changed the recipe and I was so disappointed I actually fed them to the birds. What's happened to my beloved cracker.
Bought a packet of cream crackers last week in Ireland and there was no white packaging inside to protect the crackers. Needless to say many of the crackers were broken because they are only wrapped in a flimsy package. I guess cutbacks were brought in, won't be buying again
Managers want to get rid of the staff because all they care about is reducing costs. It used to be a family company but now it's all about saving money. They invested 65m into the factory but are still laying people off left right and centre. Worse place ever to work. Gary white who is the manager there needs to fess up and change his work ethic. He's one of the big factory managers by the way
Awful place to work. These reviews are either written by management or Jacobs workers.It is complete BS. The majority of the staff are agency workers on zero hour minimum wage contracts. Agency machine operators who are worked off their feet are given an extra FIVE POUND A WEEK. Despicable. Some of the workers who were there before the agency- PMP, are on double the wages and actually think that the agency workers are idiots and beneath them. They even expect the agency workers to come out in sympathy with them if they are on strike..like they,d do the same for them?! Some of them will actually watch a agency worker suffering at a job and not lift a finger to help them.Some of the Jacobs people are lovely people but some actually think they are better paid because they work better. They are paid more because they were there before the agency!.You will be standing alongside workers doing the same job as you for more pay,rights,sick pay benefits etc. Do NOT work here if you can avoid it. And one of the agency staff is a horrible bugger who belittles agency workers for their poor wages etc. A horrible arrogant man. Also the machines are forever conking out which puts even more work on (mostly) agency workers. DO NOT WORK in this boiling hot, overworked, under ventilated , dump, where (some) of the Jacobs workers are the most horrible people Ive worked with in 40 years.
What happened to the old advert, if you like a lot of chocolate on your biscuit join our club, there is hardly any chocolate on them now ????
Security in Jacobs Bakery are fantastic and very helpful, apart from the one individual he can be a grump ( you know who you are G).
Great place.. awkward as f##k in artic.. dont not go past battier at gatehouse you turn right to bays
