Had Christmas menu last night. One of the best Xmas dinners I've ever had in a pub! Lovely wait between starters and mains as I hate food being brought out quickly one course after another. Desert (Xmas pud) was delicious and perfect portion size after a big roast meal!
Lovely family friendly pub. We had a great Sunday roast. The fire was roaring on a cold Sunday afternoon. Really homely and friendly staff. The pork scratchins are on another level.

Good choice of Sunday Roast options (Beef, Gammon, Turkey, Pork) and good quality food with a reasonable selection of sweets.
It is a little expensive £13.95 for a single, £18.95 for two and only received one and a half roast potatoes which weren't large either.
The only other thing to mention was the restaurant section had plastic table cloths and most had different condiment containers (eg. Bottle of vinegar) which made it feel a little like a greasy spoon, not that there's anything wrong with them, but all in all worth a try.
Absolutely gorgeous pub, with amazing service and fantastic food, we arrived a bit late for food, but the staff chef and managers where so understanding and accommodated for our needs, we asked for just a simple burger and chips because we didn't want to stress them out because of time. But what we got was amazing and so tasty as shown in photo. We will definitely be back again and highly recommend the food and the lovely atmosphere the staff provided. Many thanks for accommodating us guys, hope to see you again very soon ????

Bar staff very nice food is lovely had the curry rice chips the best to top it off the apple crumble and custard lovely feel stuffed the boss is a good bloke so I say 100%
We had just been to a nearby car chase heroes event and on the way home we thought a pub lunch would be nice. We found this quaint little pub with ample parking, that had a great selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as well as an eclectic and pleasing menu. We all enjoyed our meals and the staff and locals were all really polite and helpful. Next time we head that way it will be our stop of choice.
Dog friendly bar, very nice friendly staff, great food, would highly recommend.
