This was our first time. The style of decor was unique. It was so dark in there and the red lights didn’t make it any better. We didn’t get an explanation of the menu so when we ordered and told the waiter that we would be sharing the chicken wings to be exact, he never explained that the particular dish we ordered was actually a chicken sandwich and not chicken wings. We looked at the menu again and noticed how the chicken wings were at the top and what we ordered was under a category Label sandwiches. So I didn’t have a dish to eat, which made me anxious to leave some I was getting hungry and didn’t want to keep waiting since everyone else had their dishes. There were five of us and only one person liked their dish which was the rice. I tried it. It was good. The chickpea dish was not good. The drinks are cute, I ordered the painkiller with extra strength. It was juice and not as starting as he said for $17 + $4 extra for extra and I tasted no extra. Oh there was extra ice tho which I specifically asked for light ice since I’m anemic. Finally, once we left our eyes were burning cause of the bright sunlight. If you visit this place maybe night time would be better for your eyes.
1st time here and it was a success! Our server Damon did a great job and was very helpful!
Drink- I like rum and fruity so I got the Mid-century Zombie and it was perfection!
Food- fish tacos and embutitdo and both were excellent! Love the plantain chips!
Love the atmosphere as it felt like we were on the set of Survivor here ????
Didnt eat there, but the food looked and smelled great. Quinn the bartender was super accommodating and knowledgeable. Drinks were well crafted, looked pleasing and tasted great
This place was a lot of fun, watching them make the fire drink was neat. Did take a little while to get seated and get drinks but was worth the wait. Burger was really good and the stroganoff - the fish on the fish tacos could have been more seasoned. Would return .
The GOONS were delish. Get the RAGOONS
Love some GOONS
The disco fries are really good too - nice peppery gravy
Per usual a half eaten photo because we were too hungry
The food left a lot to be desired. That being said the atmosphere was kitschy and festive. It did have an odd odor. The service was great. The staff were personable. I would definitely do something about the strange rotting hay smell. There was something on the shrimp that I couldn't quite determine it's origin. Definitely worth the stop but not a culinary gem????
Highly recommend. Checks all the boxes that a tiki bar should: ambiance, cocktails, food. This place actually had some of the best food I've ever had at a classic tiki bar.
Great rum list, and our bartender was fairly knowledgeable about it. Absolutely perfect mai tai, in my opinion. Decor and atmosphere is outstanding, and service was good. Actually had some of the best interactions with another server/host who gave us recommendations, chatted with us, etc, despite our bartender not being very busy. Kudos to that guy just being awesome even though we weren't his table!
Would definitely come back if we are in the area again!
This is one of the best Tiki Bars I’ve been to.
Every drink was excellent. The food items were great also.
Atmosphere was like stepping into a storybook.
Staff was fantastic.
Street parking nearby.
The decor here is over the top! The menu and drinks complement beautifully. Our server was very personable and gave good information.
