Such a shame, this chip shop was outstanding and by far the best only 2-3 weeks ago. Something has happened………. The service isn’t the same, the chips are fried differently and I have to say I won’t be back. Chips almost like they’re partially battered. Just a grease fest.
In Place Fish Bar serves tasty fish and chips, but at £12, it leans towards the pricey side. The flavors are commendable, but the cost may not align with the expectations for a standard fish and chips experience.

I was in the area and haven't been here yet, having no idea what to cook for dinner this was a fabulous idea!
I've tried lot's of different chippies, they vary so much but this one was an efficient service, great value and the food was delicious ????
Especially the chips, which were crispy, fluffy and plentiful. The battered sausage just right, crispy and the batter not too thick.
After deciding to try a different chippy as the food has been awful recently at the one we've been using, we popped in here. Food was lovely, chips were crispy and fluffy and the cod was good, batter just right and not to thick. Portions were large so next time we will go smaller.

Absolutely amazing!
My partner uses this chip shop alot and never has any complains but tonight he was very disappointed! He went in not long before they close and said he noticed the women roll her eyes when he walked in which he appreciates it is annoying but he said he went in at 8:40 so 20 minutes before they close in my opinion is plenty of time. He then Said it just went silent after his order and the staff just kept staring at him which made him feel really uncomfortable.( he also asked for large and repeated it but they still gave him small) And to then top it all off they forgot to charge him so he reminded them he hadn’t paid and they didn’t even show any gratitude ( most people would have just left) he has never complained before and this is the reason I’m writing a review as something has clearly changed in there. I’ll update this when we have went again and I hope it’s better service otherwise we won’t be returning!!!
Amazing chips ???? they was little roast potatoes very crispy and fresh
I visited 1 week after new management took over and was very disappointed. However, lots of changes since, including a new oil filter and having been back again, the chips were unreal - golden and crispy and the best I have ever tasted from a chippy and every bit as good their other chippy in Worcester!
