Best KPortal Reviews

Excellent pick for take out. The lumpia was the biggest surprise and was quite delicious.
The rest of it was fairly run-of-the-mill. Certainly not bad but not the absolute best.
Walked in to pick up our order and stood there for a solid 5 minutes before someone came to actually talk to me.
I called in an order to pick up Mongolian beef and I had such high hopes because the reviews were good. The dish had about a dollar’s worth of meat in there and was abnormally sweet. The total after tax is $15 so there should’ve been some meat in the dish. I like veggies too so I wish the dish had more than a small portion of sliced onions and green onions. I’d like to recommend the restaurant but I can’t. The white rice was exactly like I make mine at home but not worth $15. I might go back for a different dish the next time but I doubt it.
In Virginia Beach visiting family and started having a sore throat and I was craving soup. Decided to order their Chicken and Corn Soup and asked for crispy wonton strips. OMG, so good!! The broth was silky with such a great mouth feel. The chicken was tender and flavorful. The corn was sweet enough to add just a “pop” of yumminess, but not too sweet that it over powers the savory thick chicken broth. Adding the crispy wonton noodles brought in a different texture, as they didn’t get soggy even at the bottom of the bowl.
My husband had Mongolia beef and it was also wonderful, and he finished it all before I could get a picture.
Hint: if ordering to go, call the restaurant direct versus going through Grub Hub as their website routes you. The prices are much better directly through the restaurant.
I never had lobster cantonese before, but I have to say, it was amazing!!!! Excellent food, great service.. I will definitely be coming back !!!
The crab soup was delicious too! And let's not forget the spring egg rolls!!! Yum !!!
I was extremely excited to find they can make nearly the entire menu gluten free! I am so excited to have a place sown the street. Food was great. Everyone was very friendly. Service was FAST!! Extensive menu and everything is very reasonably priced. I can't wait to eat here again!
Visited with my husband because I heard this was the closest I’ll get with “vegan fine dining” and I was not disappointed. It’s a nice ambience with low lighting and white table cloths. The food was delicious & not at all overpriced. We’ll be returning soon.
I had pineapple teriyaki tofu & he had duck.
The food is actually pretty good not excellent but for takeout it’s about average. They often price gouge you have to watch your credit card statements. I ordered a dish that was $23 after the taxes and delivery fee. She told me the cost was going to be $30, when I got my credit card statement, it was $34 and some change. I called to inquire as to why the price increased. The lady gave me some bogus excuse about credit card fee, which is illegal in the state of Virginia to pass on your credit card fee to your customers. Not to mention, I only live directly across the street less than five minutes from them, but I understand everybody has to get paid. Nevertheless, she was very Rude and hung up on me. I called back and explained to her that I work in a law office. And that it would be illegal to pass on Credit card fee to their customers and that I would be letting the attorney in my office know because that’s what they practice is based on Most of the time. I wish I could leave them a more positive review but overall, it was not a good experience. Even upon pick up of food, they are not very friendly. and does not seem to appreciate my business. That’s just my experience but hey, if you have money to give away and you’re very hungry and they are closest place then give them a try, but if you have options by all means, there are better ways to spend your money or better places rather rather.
We chose Imperial Palace for our weekly dinner date last night and was not aware it was the Lunar New Year!! There was a raucous Lion Dance going on when we arrived and we decided it looked like fun! Plus, we have enjoyed their delicious food before so we decided to stay! Customer service was a little slow because of the event but the food was delicious as usual! This was the best Orange Beef I have ever had!! I love this place! ❤️
