What a Fabulous Cafe
Very Clean Fantastic Service with a Good selection of Meals that they can add to Or swap n remove according to taste
Would Highly Recommend
The cafe is nice, the staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is of a good standard, but the prices have gone up to a point where the quality and portion sizes don't match the price. Overall, it's not terrible, but not worth the prices being charged
Change of management and its noticeable. Prices increased (no issue if the service and quality is there). Chips undercooked and hardly any on the plate. No menu prices. Food was below standard. A real shame as this was excellent previously. Will need to find another local. £6.50 for chips, beans and 2 eggs, no drink. Crazy prices.
Such a shame because this place uses to be buzzing. Great food, brilliant staff and great standards. Someone else took it over and is running the place into the ground. My waitress brought my breakfast over with her finger in my beans. Could see children running in and out of the Kitchen area the old staff moved on and new ones working there are useless. Avoid.
Lovely breakfast with friendly staff
The diner has been taken over by new mmgt and I wouldn't waste your time. I went there and they have no idea how to cook the food even the milkshakes which used to be legendary are now nothing but watered milk. Will not be going there ever again and nor would I even give it a 1 star. Its a pity because the staff in there previously were so friendly and lovely now lets just say they can barely understand you.
What once was The Hungry Diner pre-Covid now goes into yet another version of itself. Hard to tell how often the owners have actually changed and the staff have varied since coming out of lockdown. I loved the original Hungry Diner and was a regular but the newer versions have mostly been a bit disappointing. This version however seems to be very good food wise. I have been twice in the last week and had an excellent breakfast and a very good wrap. Prices are reasonable and people currently working there very nice. Still nowhere near as busy as the original was but with the current product they deserve to thrive.
Visiting family recently near Uxbridge we came across this wonderful cafe which does an all day breakfast as well as a wide ranging menu. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the food cooked to a high standard. The eggs were obviously fresh. The coffee was excellent for the UK. Prices were good value and the servings generous.
