Big disappointment. I ordered latte with regular milk but I got something like water-downed milk and on top of that I can’t even taste the espresso.
This location doesn’t make the same recipes as the others. It’s the only location that I’ve been to, consistently where the coffee tastes like a 7 Eleven. I don’t know if they’re using a different quality of product, ratios are off- training issue, or if they are not pulling full shots of espresso, but it is watery, and cheap tasting. Such a bummer because I keep giving it a shot since Human Bean has always been a favorite of mine! Hopefully they can take a look at quality control overall. Snowy Mocha shown below… watery, little ice, tastes like sugary, watery milk.
In general the food and coffee is good, but occasionally the person making it burns the coffee. Lately, whoever is working here, seeems to be doing a better job.
Sometimes they will make really good coffee. Then even if you keep ordering the same exact thing. It will taste either way to watered down, too sweet, or too much milk. They cant seem to keep consistency.
Also what’s shocking is they don’t have Lactose free milk. It’s a big part in how coffee tastes. And they completely missed it.
I somehow can make amazing coffee with a cheep nespresso machine and some lactose free milk. But a $2k machine, and lots of experience. Gets this much messed up.
Prepackaged pastry, churned out in a factory, why even bother? Oh - its from 'seattles favorites', well that certainly makes it not what I'd expect from a vending machine. Barista fed a dog with her hand, twisted her fingers around then used unwashed hand to grab and press the lid on my coffee. Weird how the respondent 'saw' her use hand sanitizer on camera and yet in real life I did not - maybe she did, didn't see it and she wasn't rubbing her hands in a way that makes me inclined to believe your explanation. anyway, you can keep my $5, I'd have preferred a warning from a review like this before I went there.
I really like the coffee here. While I do usually get some super-sweetened, junky looking drink (see picture, this one is the Java Chip), I had a toned down, double shot white mocha one time that was really delicious!
The Wilsonville location was a little difficult to access by car. But once I got there the gal who helped me was so very pleasant and was patient with me when I asked her for help with the drinks on their holiday menu. She described them carefully and really wanted to make sure I was happy with the drink I chose.
It's located just off the freeway, next to Carl's Jr. So pretty convenient! I just have poor navigation skills...
Kind staff and they always have drinks ready in a timely manner. Also, I received a free air freshener with my drink. That was a nice little touch in support of breast cancer awareness. Thank you!
Human bean is usually my favorite place, absolutely not this one though.
To any coffee shop I go I always say the same thing, "20 oz white mocha half sweet no whip" unfortunately at this one before I could even finish those eight words I was interrupted four different times.
That's understandable to want to know if the drink is hot, but interrupting someone to ask isn't
If that was it I wouldn't do a review, but when I tried to continue, the barista just continued to interrupt saying "will that be all" after every single word I said
