These crawfish were seasoned just perfect and enjoyed with my parents at home.
Really small crawfish and over cooked.

3/9/23 I had my first crawfish of the season from “Hot Spot” in Moss Bluff. I have to say it was the Best I’ve ever had. The Crawfish were Big, perfectly seasoned and the corn and potato’s were fantastic. Give Hot Spot a try, you won’t be disappointed.
This is the only place I go for crawfish season. They are set apart from the rest. These crawfish peel SO EASILY, even when they are cold. The meat is very tender. Because of this you are able to get the entire crawfish with fat out of every one. Spice is just right and all medium to large. You rarely find the old dark red ones here. Can't say enough! LOVE THEM!
I was born and raised in the bluff and between my family and I, we've been goin here for many years. Recently purchased 30lbs and at pickup I noticed the owner wasnt their. When I got home and tryed the crawfish they where wayyy over cooked and entirely too salty! I gave them a ring to inform them they need to make a change and the new manager didnt seem to have any interest In what I had to say... unless if the owner comes back they've lost my business..
I am highly disappointed with their crawfish. After reading all the rave reviews, I decided this place would be my go-to for Good Friday. Bad decision. Whatever process they use to keep the crawfish warm, inadvertently dries them out. Crawfish should be spicy with the right amount of juice (boiled water of course) left within to slurp out. These however didn't even have an ounce of water as residue in the plastic bag... A total waste of time and money... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
I want to love Hot Spot and I know you can't judge, properly based off of one experience but the amount of claws in my 8lb order is hard to look past. My order took place around 7, an hour before closing time so maybe I received a, bottom of the pot order. We literally pulled loose claws out by the handfuls. Corn/Potato were GREAT!
Well I was unaware that I had to Pre-order so I pull up at 4:45 being that they opened at 4:30 and told him that I’d like to order some and the Young man that was at window said did you call In and I said no I didn’t know I was supposed to. He said well we are sold out so I said OK I guess I’ll just have to try down the road and he smirked and very sarcastically he said good luck with that: so they lost my business for good I will not be doing business with them anymore I don’t care how good ppl say their crawfish are! I base my doing business with someone on their courtesy and professionalism which this young man lacks of BOTH! oh and FYI I DID find them and the staff was Very courteous and was MUCH MORE professional!!
