The food was excellent. I had the BLT Omelet, and it was delicious. Fresh ingredients, crisp lettuce, great size, and value for the money. My husband had the stuffed hashbrown and loved it. We bought giant cinnamon rolls and sour dough bread from their bakery. Excellent! We will be going back, it's worth the drive.
We went here for a birthday brunch. The food was to all of our liking. I had a Belgian waffle and an order of biscuits and gravy. The waffle was an excellent texture and flavor. The sausage and gravy dish wasn't like any other biscuits and gravy I've ever had. I don't know what spices they used but it was yummy with a hint of spicy heat. The biscuits were thick and crumbly inside which was good.
The others at the table:
One got the BLT with cheese and fries. It looked amazing. The bacon was thick and appeared perfectly cooked. The fries were delicious too.
Someone ordered the chicken and waffles. They were happy with their order and it the chicken fingers looked yummy.
Finally the last order was a chicken pickle sandwich. She exclaimed, "finally someone who gets it and put the right amount of pickles on a sandwich" so big win for this pick too. All in all the place was excellent.
We have eaten here a few times in the past. It's what I would consider a classic breakfast. Our food in the past has been decent. Then today we did a take out order. Unfortunately, I was served what was the worst biscuits and gravy I have ever tried to consume. The gravy is almost as if it is a brown gravy with sausage bits added, and very very oily. Quite frankly I've had better foil packaged gravy than what I got today. To the point I couldn't even finish 1 of the 4 biscuits served with it. Especially at the $10 price point.
Disappointing to say the least.
This little restaurant had absolutely delicious food and great service. What a gem! I will be back. I ended up eating both breakfast and lunch…salad was super fresh. I asked for a dry omelette with less cheese and it was perfect. The portabella mushrooms made the veggie omelette particularly delicious.
They have the best mushroom and three cheese omelette I've ever had. The mushrooms are incredible. If you're a mushroom connoisseur, you have to try this place. My wife and I also shared a couple blueberry pancakes. Not only were they big, they were delicious.
I almost forgot to mention, they have a bakery and I bought a loaf of sourdough bread to bring home. I had a couple pieces of my dinner tonight and it was incredible as well. I can't recommend this place enough.
We got carry out since we were about to start our 3 hour road trip home, around 11/11:30 AM today, it was so delicious and kept us full the whole ride! ????
(We planned on probably needing to wait 20-30 minutes or so before our food was ready, since today was Sunday brunch time-so plan this for yourself too!)
My boyfriend got the breakfast burrito and a cinnamon chocolate chip scone, he said they were both really good! ????
I got the chicken and waffles, which were amazing! The green onions on top were a new game changer for me, I loved it! (Their plasticware was also very strong and made it very easy to eat my meal in the car) ????????????
I then also got a chocolate chip cookie-my only complaint is I wish it was warmed up/a little gooey. ????
The staff was also very friendly, I would 100% recommend!
The bakery uses harmful and cheap ingredients ( soy bean oil which causes cancer, etc) and they charge $8 for a loaf of bread that doesn’t taste good at all. Very disappointed with this product. It doesn’t taste fresh at all.
I cannot get enough of this place. Everything is good. I have not had a bad experience yet. I definitely favor the breakfast menu here but I do love their dill chicken sandwich. Best fries in White Lake
