Lovely food for a reasonable price ! Everything was so perfect, I can only recommend this place. You'll be welcomed by an extremely kind and smiling team, into a very pleasant room, and nice music to top it off. 10/10 with no hesitation !
Had a very good, genuine Thai dish today at Highland Fling in the Highlands Kyle of Lochalsh and excellent red wine at a very reasonable price. Give it a try. Music is good. And one of the proprietors, Karin, will likely be there to greet you. She’s so welcoming and full of positive energy. You’ll like the music, food and you’ll certainly feel welcome by Karin. And we hear it’s a great place at night for music and dancing too.
Had the veg haggis wrap and the curry wrap! Food was alright and staff was lovely, very accommodating for vegan options :) appreciated the fun deco and the music was great
Extremely friendly and accommodating owners, nothing too much trouble. Food fantastic and fantastically priced. Tom Yum and rice is the best dish I've ever tasted, a must for anyone. Haggis is also a must. Hats off to the chef (and owners).
Ok to grab a drink but wouldn't recommend eating here. No Thai food during the weekend, apparently they only make it during the week. Music was blasting from a poor sound system so we couldn't hear each other. Food was average. They managed to charge us an extra glass wine from the other table, even though we were only 4 people eating and there were probably as many staff members as customers. When I pointed out this mistake the bartender seemed annoyed and barely apologized. Brilliant!
Friendly, warm and totally unassuming. A small sports bar / pub. Worth a visit if you want good food and drink at a reasonable price. After 6pm it was hard to find something that was still open. So we decided on "The Highland Fling" and made exactly the right choice. Try it out, you won't regret it. We'll be back again and again.
Recently had lunch here and was very pleased at the quality of the food and the richness of the hospitality! In a land where nearly everyone is friendly, the hostess at Highland Fling made us feel like long awaited friends.
They very nicely reopened the kitchen for me, and when the last place in town serving food does that for you, you can't possibly have a bad word to say. Nice beer selection, too.
