Best KPortal Reviews
Love that breakfast & brunch is served for longer throughout the day and alongside their lunch/coffee menu. No rushing in the morning, then a nice and relaxed atmosphere with quirky decor and lots of pretty lights and flowers.
Food and drinks are reasonably priced, quality and were obviously prepared with care (Found a few items very buttery, cooked in it perhaps but that's personal preference and it was still very tasty, if rich) Will be back again for brunch in future & to try the dinners, which look like a great selection.
Plenty of spacious parking and kids climbijg frame in the garden.
Had a lovely Sunday dinner here, don’t usually go out for Sunday lunch but will definitely be back! The children’s menu is one of the best I’ve seen and such good value for money! Food was amazing and lovely atmosphere! Couldn’t recommend enough and can’t wait to go back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Loved it here. Staff friendly. Dogs have their own menu. Had 3 happy dogs with their own plates of chicken breast for £1.50 a plate. The dogs were well pleased. Lovely Gammon meal too. Recommended.
We went for a group meal. The food we had was yummy, Hot & Tasty. The newly refurbished Haywain is very tastefully decorated. With a new set of staff who try they're absolute best to accommodate patrons.
Had a lovely time here. 11 of us. Food was delicious and plenty of it. Prices very reasonable. We'll be visiting again soon I'm sure. Bonus live music. Very dog friendly.
Had a beautiful Sunday roast here today. Had booked a table for 7 at a different restaurant for my birthday, but got messed around so thought we would try here instead. It was quite late in the afternoon but they still managed to fit us in. Food and service was amazing and really made us feel welcome, will definitely be returning
Lovely atmosphere. It’s one of our locals so we tend to go just for a drink and I have to say, the cocktails are awesome and the ones I’ve tried, especially the Gin Fizz are on a par with the cocktail bar in town. Give it a go, you won’t be disappointed
This place serves a Sunday roast until 5pm, which is great because most places stop service at 2pm. The roast beef dinner was excellent, couldn't fault it. The service was slow, didn't seem to be many staff to handle the amount of people, but the staff were lovely and service with a smile. Was slightly disappointed with the dessert, (sticky toffee pudding) because they'd run out of the sauce to go with it, so ended up with a very small pot of custard. I'd certainly visit again ????
