Decent food. The add ons for the dishes are a bit steep. Like £1.50 for adding banana to my pancakes was criminal. A best I think it should be £1. The atmosphere was amazing and the service was great.
Visiting Edinburgh for Christmas Holidays, and this little cafe / bakery fits right into the festive yet cozy athmosphere of Edinburgh during Christmas.
The location is great, having a tram stop directly in front of the venue. The Haven resides in what seems to be a very old building that the folks running the place decorated extensively. After sitting down a few minutes with a very nice dirty chai and cafe latte, we felt right at home.
The food tastes great and was presented with care. The prices seem fair as well, especially for the coffees which are large in size.
The staff was very kind and attentive, and was really supportive around food allergies.
Highly recommend this cozy cafe / bakery for breakfast or lunch.

I stayed in New Haven for the holidays and this cafe was wonderful! I had the best cappuccino I’ve ever had here. The staff was fantastic and the atmosphere of the place was cozy. I wish we had a place like this back home, but definitely visited as many chances as I could.
I cannot fault this place in any way. Absolutely brilliant in every way. For such a small place it was busy on a Sunday morning. We waited about 30 seconds for a table to become available. Which was quickly cleared and cleaned and we were seated. We had menus delivered swiftly and given time to choose our food. Our order was was taken and within just a few minutes our food arrived. Piping hot and freshly cooked to order. We will definitely go there again. Highly recommended.

We found this lovely place because a closed friend of us recommended it and gave us a voucher gift to try it. We'll come back for sure as both the attention and food were amazing. Such a picturesque place, and the drawing in the women's toilet just amazed me! Good place to have a soft lunch with friends with your kids, have a coffee reading a book with your dog. We'll try soon the breakfast!

Delicious fry up at a charming cafe. Staff friendly and accommodating. Good experience, would definitely be here all the time if I lived close by. Great cake selection too. Good value for money. Relaxed and cosy.
