Poor.
Firstly part of my order was missing and when I contacted them on the phone in regards to this the lady responded by just saying yes that’s my fault. No mention of adding it in to another order(not that I will go back ) or a refund for the item not received .
Then half way through the food I found a short black course hair within our food.
Not even an apology for that, I did ask for a contact email to discuss but she just told me to “go online”. So here I am.
I will not go back and do not recommend !
CLOSED until 30 August 2021. Only found out from the sign on the door. Several disappointed customers.
UPDATE!
On returning 17 June 23, shop open had great fish and chips. Try the fish burger, I got 6 mini fish fillets in a roll.

Great fish and chip shop in Cricklade.
I usually frequent here at lunch time once a week or so. Always great service and fantastic chips. The fish is usually really good as well.
There is a big range, and the prices are pretty decent.
No complaints at all.
Good variety of takeaway food but their battered cod is the best and if you get the large bring a good appetite as its big. Only reason its not 5 stars is it is a little pricey.
Came here on the way to Swindon, looks nice from the outside but so disappointed. Chips weren’t cooked enough and definitely not crispy. The gravy, (which cost £6 for 3 of us) was watery with floating bits of cheap bisto. Dead expensive too. Avoid
The best battered sausage and chips we’ve had in ages! Portions were huge! Sadly not our local but I certainly wish it was :D
This is a great fish and chip shop. They do a good range and it's always freshly cooked. Their chips are the perfect chip shop chips ????. The staff are really friendly. Highly recommended
A wonderful fish and chip shop, very high standard. I was especially impressed by the quality of fish they use, my haddock was exceptional, the level of which I would expect to eat in a quality pub not in a high street fish and chip shop. It has great flavour, texture, the batter was crisp and pale coloured, and overall was simply a wonderful piece of fish.
The staff were very friendly and chatted to us whilst we waited, a very sensible and short time I might add.
The only thing that I disliked about my meal was that some of the chips, about a tenth I would say were slightly undercooked, just a bit too hard. I guess this was simply because they were either the bigger ones, or being busy they had been forced to slightly rush making them, but whatever the reason, it was such a small fraction that it didn’t affect my meal in any significant way.
