Good value for money. Food was simple but really tasty. Cooked to order. Lovely potatoes. Owners were lovely and friendly.
A great, friendly atmosphere. A good place for a chat with the locals. Sometimes there are events such as live music. The food is always tasty and very good value. The starters are particularly good and there are usually some good quality stakes available.
I felt it would be selfish not to share how much we enjoyed our first visit to The Half Moon. From the moment of booking our table, to arriving we were met with such sincere friendliness from the whole family. The food was delicious, cooked and served with care and priced very reasonably. I would definitely recommend this real time pub and it’s great food. We will be back.

Just had drinks here. Very sad looking place though the owner was extremely friendly. Place looked very tired and darkly painted so felt very oppressive.
Stayed in a nearby Airbnb and watched the England game at the Half Moon. We all loved our evening here and it was great to meet some locals and watch the game in such good company. The drinks were really good but the highlight was definitely the home cooked food (especially the potato wedges!). Highly recommend visiting if you're staying in the area.
Friendly and cosy, fish and chips was not the best quality, did overcharge us but quick to correct their error.
