This was my first time at The Halal Guys and was very impressed. I had a chicken bowl and it was very juicy and toppings were very fresh and garlic sauce was also really good too. Service was also very quick and reasonable price. My only wish is that they have more on there menu but other then that would recommend
The Halal Guys is surely a must try. They have wide range of variety in their menu offering everything from chicken to beef. The best thing is that you can customise your own wrap or platter. It’s totally worth trying it for all the shawarma lovers.
The food is good but the staff keep messing up my orders. I placed a online order with the halal app. I was missing green onions, green peppers. They didn't give me the BBQ sauce I wanted in my order. I order less and less because of these consistent issues. This food is expensive, and I expect it to be correct as a paying customer. The app was disappointing when I reported these missing items that you charged me the best the app would do is a free fry. That doesn't fix what went wrong and creates irritation and frustration.
Canadians- this place is not like shawarma places or quality in Canada!
Portions- fair 7/10
Flavour- 6/10. Didn’t seem authentic. Sauces weren’t garlicky or didn’t taste like tahini. Seemed More like ranch sauce.
Chicken didn’t have same shawarma spices we’re used to in Canada at authentic shops. The meat was scooped from a tray. It was not shaved off the spit.
Price- 6/10 bc of the above
Service- fast- wasn’t really busy.
This place wasn’t for me.

Halal Guys HIT THE MARK EVERY TIME ???????? I had it two days in a row! I added green peppers the second time.
This place is usually one of my go-to's. The food is often pretty good, though I would stray away from pickup orders. Decided to try the in-store pickup; Each order was wrong missing toppings and red sauce that we had selected online, and a side order of chips with my hummus was missing. My pita sandwich was also mushy and wet. Poor experience overall, though the platter we ordered was good per usual. Chipotle is right around the corner!
I love the halal guys in Missisauga location, so we decided to get our dinner at this location while on our way to NYC. The server was so arrogant , the shawarma bowl wasn’t filled up properly as per standard portion & we asked for spicy bbq chicken, but she provided us the normal chicken. Never visiting this outlet again.
P.S- The portion size in Mission is huge compared to this one, as well there is a lot of price difference for such less quantity.
Every time I encounter this employee, I experience terrible customer service and he ignores anything you say. Does not put enough food which makes it not worth my money. I was a regular customer before he came in and now I avoid going because of him. I am not posting his face or name but I hope the management does something about it.
